O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | I saw it friday night...and while I didn't think it was the worst movie, I did think that it could have been a little shorter. The special effects were fantastic, and the story held enough of kubrick to keep me happy...as for joe, he made me laugh, and even used some of my lines!! but someone said it right...teddy stole the whole damn movie!! I think people should see it... AIM: SkiT4you First Member of the JWO

O&A Board Regular Registered: Mar. 01 | A.I. was rather well done...a good movie...and i enjoyed it. However, they could have ended the movie 45 minuets before the actual end of the movie, and it would have been perfect. The last 45 mins of the movie kinda got a lil wierd and lost me lil bit...but i did love the imagination of it. All in all, 4 outta 5 stars. Best Movie of the year so far EDIT - Teddy fucking RAWKED! :) This message was edited by Unicron on 7-2-01 @ 9:33 AM

O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | It seems like it is basically mixed reviews for this movie. Definitely better than the last pile of shit, Kubrick came out with, the worst movie of all time in Eyes Wide Shut. Call it the dumbing down of America, but I bet Scary Movie 2 will more than double AI's take at the box office it's opening weekend. I still have hope Planet of the Apes will be the best movie of the year. Bets movie I've seen this year was Shrek. Just awesome.

O&A Board Regular Registered: Mar. 01 | I'm psyched about POTA because it's not a remake in the sense of taking the story and just updating a little bit. It a totally new story, new characters, new everything. it is basicly a New movie, taking nothing from the previous movie other than it is a planet full of apes. i can't wait. O&A Board Veteran Registered: Sep. 00 | I liked Eyes Wide Shut, I thought it was well made, intelligent and interesting. I've seen it a bunch of times already. Also, there is no question in anyone's mind that Scary Movie 2 will make more what AI will make. AI is NOT for everybody. I'm not putting anyone down by saying this but AI is more of a movie you think about (now if you think about it and don't like it that's cool) while Scary Movie 2 you just go in to laugh (and from what the commercials tell me you won't be laughing that much). Will I go see SM2? Yes because allegedly the trailers to Spider-Man and Jay and Silent Bob STrike Back will be attached. My biggest fear coming from the movie (which I DO recommend) is that Spielberg will go back to doing what he does and disgrace the Kubrick memory by making an animated show with Teddy. Besides in Box Office totals Kubrick will never be able to complete with fart jokes even though I think David Cros rocks. The narrator in Fight Club is the man we will be, Patrick Bateman in American Psycho is the man we want to be Eliza Dushku- Hotter Than Britney

Psychopath Registered: Dec. 00 | I saw A.I. last night and I can say that I have mixed feelings about this movie. The special effects were really good. The plot kinda dragged a little. The ending was just totally unecessary (all who saw it KNOW where it should have ended). And for future reference.....Spielberg should NOT be doing Kubrick movies. Big mistake. I think a better choice would have been someone like Tim Burton. I feel he would have captured Kubrick's image of A.I. alot better than Spielberg could have. This movie kinda reminded me of a cross between like D.A.R.Y.L. and a new age Pinnochio. It was alright, but it could have been ALOT better. All in all a good movie...Allthough its really long and my ass cheek and legs feel asleep about 4 times. -TG

O&A Board Regular Registered: Aug. 00 | I really liked AI. Awesome visuals. Good story. Very Kurickesque. Especially the ending (which I agree could have been tightened, maybe just pick one) ----- E-mail: [email protected] AIM: JonNeedsSN Adoptee: whodawhatawhata and MamA CaZ You listen to me!
