| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | If the alter ego's have to do the fighting for us, then I wanna be Sean, just so I can start stuff and make him fight the battle for me. :) In all seriousness, I do believe you have stumbled onto something here Kid, I kinda had an "Immitate your favorite mod" kinda thing I was thinking about awhile ago, but this idea is much better I think. I think there should definately be a panel of unbiased "judges" with a complete list of who is being who, just in case anything major breaks out in the midst of all the mayhem. Since I don't think anybody will be scrambling to be me, I would like to volunteer to be one of the "judges" of how well our "couples" become each other. This is all going to get real confusing, but I think the madness will liven things up a bit! Good luck immitators!  School's out, shouldn't you have a job? | Psychopath Registered: Jun. 01 | Ok, speaking from an outsider's (newbie) perspective, a few thoughts... I think if you really want this to work, you should go into it FULL STEAM. Which means, you ARE the person you are taking the identity of, from message board, to chat, to IM's among board members. Mods should still have the ability to lock threads, give strikes, ban, and participate BTS, but there should be NO public evidence of this. But if GonzoStyle is Kid Afrika on the board, then why not in chat too? Being "yourself" in chat and IM's just opens up too much room for error, which would negate the purpose of the game, unless it is important "mod" duties. There should be an "OUT" thread. Meaning, if you want out of the game, this is the place to say it. This shouldn't really be necessary, but if things get out of control, and people become genuinely hurt or pissed, there's a place for it. Of course, if your counterpart is out, so are you. This shouldn't be necessary, but it would be good to have, if just as a preventative measure. Of course, anyone who elects "out" would be forever labeled a pussy, so... Thanks for hearing me out anyway. I haven't been here long, but if you want me to judge or something, let me know.  | ||||
