| O&A Board Regular Registered: Sep. 00 | My father is Eastern European, but mainly Polish (where else do you think I get the nose from) and some other slavic stuff in there My mother came to America from Morocco when she was about 5 Quite a strange blend, Polish and Moroccan Interesting note on my family history: My mother's family is Jewish (oh, that may be where the nose is from too) and originally lived in Spain. Come the 1400's and the Spanish Inquisition, anyone who was not Roman Catholic was either killed or kicked out of the country, so my mother's ancestors in the long-long ago were originally from Spain, but fled to Morocco (which is just across the Straight of Gibraltor--just south of Spain) for religious freedom. So if you want to go way back, I am Spanish too. I guess that's why it's easiest to think of myself as an American  I can levitate birds. No one cares.
