| Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00 | I know O&A said that the game was alright but I got it at 11 and I just put it down. I think it rocks. The Chaos mode is OK but the revolution mode is awesome. I can't wait to get out of the mall and go around town. It isn't as good as GTA3 but it is still great. Any cheats file them here. Now that SOE is here I have to anticipate GTA4. | Psychopath Registered: Mar. 01 | I have to disagree. I played it for an hour and I can't imagine playing it again. The game is SO DAMN REPETITIVE!!!! How many times can I bash people with a nightstick? There is no depth to this game. And the controls are awful. It is so frustrating to use the guns. And the guns have so little ammo that if you actually are lucky enough to find one, you are only able to take out maybe one riot cop with the gun because of the horrible controls. I will admit that it is fun to use the shotgun. You can take out a whole crowd of people with one shot. But the rest of the game is awful. I'm taking it back tomorrow.  | ||||

| Hanger-On Registered: Nov. 01 | i just bought state of emergency , its not bad but im pretty disappointed. the killing and shit is cool but its no where near as good as GTA3 . theres only 4 levels and the first one at least is not very big , you just run around the same places for the whole time . ok game but not nearly as good as expected DON AND MIKE SUCK time for action | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Aug. 01 | i played the game today at my friends house. id have to say that when i first played, i thought it was a 9 out 10, but then i realized how shallow the game actually is. all you do is shoot stuff. it was very repetative, and i could imagine actually wanting to play it for a sizable amount of time, let alone paying $50 for it. ill probobly buy it if it ever becomes a "Playstation 2 Classic" p.s. how long into the PSX's run did they start making games "classics?" cause i cant wait till that happens. | Psychopath Registered: Nov. 01 | i got state of emergency on the day it came out, i don't think its as bad as O & A made it out to be, but when i accidentally got someones head and started beating people to death with it, i thought, "that was the dopest thing i have seen in gamming". if nothing else, that alone is pretty innovative and should be recognized. i give it an 8/10 | ||||
