With that said, this is some bad luck for the WWF. Being forced to totally drop your brand name, a name that's been established and recognized for twenty years, is a major blow. At least I can't totally blame Vince for this one. I'm just wondering if they won't explain the changes to the fans, and just refer to themselves as "WWE" as if that's been the name all along. I wouldn't be surprised, and so far, I see nothing on their website explaining the change to people who may not know. EDIT - Just saw this on Dave Meltzer's site: It is believed that the former WWF will be starting a slogan "Get the F out" tomorrow night on Raw as they announce the name change to WWE due to giving up the legal fight in the United Kingdom. So, the only, or at least BEST way, probably is, if you think about it, to just be straightforward and honest and come out on Raw and say, "We're changing our name cuz of a legal battle." It's truly one of the few times lately that the WWF, um, WWE is at least being refreshingly honest with it's audience. The "Get the F Out" thing is cute. It does sound like something everyone will like and then in two months, they'll say "OKOKOK we get the joke. Stop shoving it down our throats," though. It's gotta be their best slogan since "Attitude" anyway. I mean, "Get it?" and "Desire" were much gayer. 1. 94 Wins and NL East Title by the Mets this year 2. Hate the Braves with a passion 3. All 5 Starters have winning records this year 4. Mets win World Series 5. Hopefully come up with a better name for the Crack Commitee than something the Mad Dog came up with. Come on!
