Psychopath Registered: May. 01 ![]() | quote: Actually I have seen a great deal of his matches. He used to be pretty good back in the Scotty Flamingo days since he actually wrestled. His brawling schtick just doesn't always do it for me. Not that what I said about Regal being better was a put down either. Regal is just nasty. It was just a complete mismatch of styles. ------------------- But there's also this: there are over 5,000 men in this city, who know that being a policeman is an endless, glamourless, thankless job that's gotta be done. I know it, too, and I'm damn glad to be one of them."

Psychopath Registered: Jun. 01 ![]() | Again, I agree with Officer. Sure, Raven is damn good when he's on, but Regal is one of the best. The thing that pisses me off about the WWF (and their fans) is that they are more concerned with highspots and boy-band charisma, than they are with basic match psychology and wrestling ability. This is why wrestlers like Regal, Malenko, and yes, Raven, very sound and able wrestlers, are overlooked and ignored in favor of more "spectacular" wrestlers like RVD and Jeff Hardy, who can jump really high and run really fast, but lack fundamentals. Aah, well, it's "Sportz Entertainment." But hopefully, when the fad fades, the wrestlers shall shine. Until then, I will watch my Japan tapes, attend indy shows, and support wrestlers yet untainted by the curse of "Sportz Entertainment." ![]()

O&A Board Regular Registered: Feb. 01 ![]() | I think that the whole alliance thing is really interesting. RVD against both Hardys, Booker T against Angle, this is good. Kidman is one of my favorites, and I love to see him thrive. I hope they push him and RVD both, they so deserve it.![]() IM me Or E-Mail Me

Psychopath Registered: Feb. 01 ![]() | As hyped as Stone Cold versus The Rock matches are, can anyone remember a match that The Rock won against Stone Cold? I've been a wrestling fan for a whil and I can't remember The Rocker EVER beating Austin in any match, let alone a singles match.
