Grk - being in the restaurant business is not easy. Speaking from personal experience, you need a few things, that honestly, I don't think you have:
- Patience
- Ability to deal with people with different backgrounds, temperments, and attitudes
- Motivate people without pissing them off
- Dealing with a HIGH volume of stress

This is all excluding any cooking skills.

I've fired more than my share of chefs because they pissed people off or couldn't cope with the pressure.

If you want to persue a cooking career, start with these and work your way up.
