Denver has always been hard to beat at home but hey stranger things have happened. So im willing to bet that the Giants win. Corpse..how bout a gentlemanly wager? Nuttin on the line..just a bet. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | Uncomfortable with their kicking situation and unsure they'll get enough of a look at either Jaret Holmes or John Markham in Friday's preseason finale, the Giants have started their search for a new kicker outside the organization and will bring in veteran kickers Morten Andersen and Brad Daluiso for a workout today. Giants want to see what Morten Anderson has left. The 41-year-old Andersen is likely to get the most attention from the Giants since he's the third-leading scorer in NFL history and his Hall of Fame resume includes a record 37 field goals over 50 yards and a record 28 game-winning kicks. Since the Atlanta Falcons chose not to re-sign him this spring he's been working out regularly at their old training site in Suwanee, Ga. Daluiso, meanwhile, is coming in more so the Giants can get a better gauge of his health. The 33-year-old was the Giants' kicker the last eight seasons before the team chose not to re-sign him for salary-cap reasons. Injuries also had limited his effectiveness the last few years. Though it's possible Andersen or Daluiso could be signed by the Giants as soon as their workouts and physicals end today, the team appears to be keeping its options open since many kickers in camps around the league will be released next week. Giants GM Ernie Accorsi declined to comment on the kicking situation late last night. | ||||
