O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | shit...game time temperature is above 40 degrees in Philly, i might be wrong by picking Philly now lol. Even though i hate the Ealges, im probably right unfortunately by having them win. And the temp will drop eventually below 40, so i guess this means the Bucs will blow up in the 2nd half. As everyone knows, they are 0-20 in temps below 40. Who the fuck cares about stats anyway?? lol. **EDIT** I just cant believe that Chris Berman picks the Eagles to play in the Super Bowl. He will make tons of money with that bullshit if he's right. O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | Lets see: Eagles 31, Bucs 9 [jedi mind trick] You do not notice the time I posted this [/jedi mind trick] Seriously, The game that has my heart: Jets 17 Raiders 13 Jets D will step up (or Gannon will fold - take your choice). I actually am relying on what Bill Parcells said last week - before the game he said which ever team lost was done - If Raiders lost they would not be able to come back the week after. Jets must win Turnover battle like they did earlier in season. This message was edited by PeterDragon on 1-12-02 @ 8:09 PM

O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | well, 1-0 so far, as much as i hate them damn eagles. Damn i really hope Parcells doesnt take the job in Tampa, but whatever he does, its his move. Oh and Pete:quote: As much as we agree with the Mets, i have to disagree here. Gannon will not fold tonight, he isnt Vinny or Brad Johnson, or even Tom Brady. Does everyone forget that a month ago, this guy was being talked about as being the MVP of football? He has the goods, and should produce and make me 2-0. :) Go Knicks, Giants, Rangers, and Rutgers Men's Basketball Long Live Psycho Bitch

O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | Well, game at half, Jets suck so far. They are lucky to be down as little as they are - mostly Kick Returns & Gannon mis-firing 1st 2 drives. I was so off on D. Jets back on their heels in zone, can't stop anyone.

O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | yes, i am a perfect 2-0 for today, and damn that Jets loss feels pretty good. In all honesty, they shoulda never been that close in this game. Granted John Abraham was out, but it didnt matter that much. Rich Gannon came through when it mattered. Im going for another 2-0 tomorrow Go Knicks, Giants, Rangers, and Rutgers Men's Basketball Long Live Psycho Bitch

O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | wow congratulations on your 2-0!!, so is just about everybody else on the planet. Man if the Jets defense would have just played an average game they could have won this. Their defense was awful especially the secondary. Marcus Coleman plays 15 yards off everybody and who knows where Damien Robinson is. The offense played one of its best games all season, and Vinny didnt make any mistakes. But the defense killed them here. Give the Raiders credit. They played mistake free football and made the big plays when they needed them. I was waiting for us to get a turnover to turn momentum but they never did. In the 2 games back to back Oakland didnt turn the ball over at all, and the Jets turned it over 4 times. Richie Anderson's fumble was a huge momentum shifter in this game. And how fitting for the Jets season to end with them running a draw play with 15 seconds left and no timeouts. Great call Hackett you piece of shit. I dont agree with Herman Edwards decision to not onside kick but I cant kill him, he took a gamble that should have paid off but the defense didnt do their job once again, letting up an 80 yard run untouched and blitzing for no reason. At least it was a better season than most, but not good enough.

Psychopath Registered: Sep. 01 | Wow, I'm 2-0, too!!! Two words. Bring in Pennington. So it will be two years of horrible misery but it's better than starting next season with a quarterback that can only get worse and is eligible for medicaid. We'll also find out if we have an effective, young QB or a bad pick by Traitor Bill. I really like Testaverde but his time has come to call it a career. This loss is not dissapointing at all. We only had the ball twice in the entire game with the ability to take the lead and though we were never out of it, we should've never been that much in it. What's more is that we weren't expected to go this far with a rookie coaching staff, so to hell with this season. I hope Oakland enjoys the taste of 100% New England manmeat in their mouths when they get defecated upon next week. Whom are these Jets of which you speak of? O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | I dont know I think Oakland has a shot next week against New England. Thats going to be a very good game. I agree that it is time to say goodbye to Vinny, but lets keep in mind this loss was in no way his fault at all. He looked as good as he has been all year, and its too damn bad the defense took the night off and John Abraham had the flu.

Psychopath Registered: Sep. 01 | I'm a perfect 4-0 for the weekend (along with some other forecasters). Too bad the Jets couldn't have that same record in the playoffs. :( Good thing Miami didn't wait for the next round to get dismantled this time. At least the next round will be exciting without the certainty of a Dolphins choke. Whom are these Jets of which you speak of? New York State Twatto -- "Hey, you never know." GodBlessAmerica.

O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | I figured the Fins would win as they always do and choke in the next round as they always do. No biggie, since i had the winner of that game losing to the Steelers anyway. Here are my picks as i picked them before the playoffs started. (by the way, i started 3-1 last year too before finishing 8-3, damn ravens lol) Wild Card Winners Packers Eagles Dolphins Raiders Divisional Winners Packers beat Rams Bears beat Eagles Patriots beat Raiders Steelers beat Dolphins (now Ravens) Conference Winners Steelers beat Pats Packers beat Bears Super Bowl Steelers beat Packers Go Knicks, Giants, Rangers, and Rutgers Men's Basketball Long Live Psycho Bitch This message was edited by Cluster F on 1-13-02 @ 8:13 PM

Psychopath Registered: Sep. 01 | I know I am probably going to get burned picking 3 road teams next weekend, but here goes. AFC-NFC Semifinals Oakland over New England (I hate both of them equally so I am unbiased in a way.) Baltimore over Pissburgh (Raven defense and Kordell's ineptitude will both shine.) St. Louis over Green Bay (Not on turf, not in a dome, Brett.) Eagles over Beers (Just to annoy the crap out of Giants fans.) AFC-NFC Final Baltimore over Oakland (same AFC Final and venue as last year, same result) St. Louis over Philly (Not on turf, not in a dome, McNabb) Super Bowl XXXVI, New Orleans Ravens over St. Louis (In a reeeaaally close game) Just as a reminder, these are guesses, not predictions. If I could predict I would play the lottery. Whom are these Jets of which you speak of? New York State Twatto -- "Hey, you never know." GodBlessAmerica.

I dont think you can get 2 different predictions for the playoffs. :) If the Ravens make the Super Bowl, i will not watch it because that scumbag Billick will be happy. I hate him more than any coach in football. And if the Ealges didnt suck so much and get me on my nerves, id hate the Ravens the most out of every team in the league. O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | yeah u got me teenweek, i always manage to make 1 mistake in the first round of the playoffs (3rd year in a row i started out 3-1). You cant blame Fielder though. How bout that pass in the 4th that bounced off of McKnight's shoulder, which woulda been a TD? And also, he was running for his life out there, no kind of blocking. And Lamar Smith SUCKS, but ill credit the ravens run defense on part of that. Oh well, Steelers will still beat the Ravens.
