If Micheal Waltrip had any balls he would have passed Jr. and won the race instead of blocking off Kenseth to let Jr. win. I hope tomorrow is a different outcome. Granted he didn't think that you could "hang back" on the restart but he came down on Sterling's car himself. The rules clearly state that you aren't allowed below the yellow line, if you are trying to improve your position. Marlin wasn't trying to pass gordon when he went under the line, so inbyfacto he didn't break the rules. And to bring something else to the forefront, if marlin was wrong for getting into gordon and spinning him out then gordon was just as wrong for getting into harvick and causing the 18 car pile-up. As for the race, its nice seeing guys who have never won it winning the granddaddy of them all. It was also nice to see my rookie pick, Newman finishing 7th and Sadler finishing 2nd. It was also ironic that Labonte was having problems with his engine all week and when the race comes, his teammate Stewart loses his engine. By the time I got home he was already out so I was just rooting for gordon not to win after that.>) There's always next week. and Iammighty its good to see another stewart fan on the board, I was starting to feel lonely here:) Sometimes we can choose the path we follow. | Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 02 | Formula 1 starts next week !!!! finally some real racing!!! what the hell is that shit they do at Daytona? the racing would be so much more exciting if they got rid of the restrictor platesI hate Neckcar but i really hate Daytona and Talladega. plus the road courses suck to cus the drivers can't turn both ways and the cars don't accelorate fast enough. but besides that i have no complaints.
