I love it that all the isles fans are panicking now, you say youre not but anytime you lose in the playoffs, you panic. This whole season is slipping away Islander fans.  | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Aug. 00 | As an Isles fan, I'm not overly worried about tonight's loss. The offense was a bit slow, only getting 14 shots, but other than that the team played a pretty solid game, got a power play goal, held tough on defense, Ozzie made some key saves. I didn't expect them to come in and win 16 straight and take home the cup. It would've been nice to win the opener, but there's still plenty of hockey to be played. And you know what? Even if the Isles lose 3 more games, that's still 4 more than the Rangers played this year, and that's a big plus in my opinion. Last time I checked it was a best of 7. There have been plenty of teams that lost the first game of a series. As I recall last year the devils lost the 1st game against Toronto then came back to win the series. Colorado also lost against L.A. in OT then came back to win. Both teams made it to the Finals. So as far as I am concerned they are still alive and the Rangers are playing golf in the rain. I will post more examples just in case you aren't satisfied.
