I hope that you all are ok, and that you have heard from all of your loved ones. I've been watching the news this morning and I just want to say Bless all the people who are there helping. Bless the people who are trapped and still alive. My thoughts are there even if I'm not. I hope if nothing else, this brings us all closer together as one country, the UNITED States. They were looking for a significance in yesterdays date but could not find one. Someone finally saw the significance in the flight numbers. 11 93 175 77 11 fits the 11th of Sept. 9+3 = 12 for the 12th of Sept. 1+7+5 = 13 for the 13th of Sept. 7+7 = 14 for the 14th of Sept. God I hope it is just a coincidence. If it turns out not to be though. God bless everyone and I hope that we all are safe and sound when this all goes down. | ||||

While My office is not in manhattan, I often go to offices or job sites there, and I even (weirdly enough now) have my Port Authority WTC ID badge hanging on my wall in my office. It is freaky. I don't know what the WTC symbolizes to others, but to anyone around NYC couldn't help but see it often. I have a friend who was doing a construction job in an upper floor at WTC (I think at Morgan Stanley). They finished the Job Monday. Life is like that. | ||||

Right now, It's not clear what was in the trucks, but police sources do tell us it was an explosive. The trucks were stopped at the Meadowlands, the Tappen Zee, George Washington and Williamsburg Bridges. Two people were arrested at the George Washington crossing. | ||||

But I have confidence that our country is now at MAXIMUM security for terrorism and this type of attack or something similar cannot happen again. If we are vulnerable to multiple terrorist attacks on multiple days than I fear for us as a nation. | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Apr. 01 | I happened to turn on the Hollywood report with Sam Rubin this morning, and the Tonight Show is canceled all week, the Emmy's are probably going to be rescheduled for the middle of October (the quote was something like, "we can't begin to reschedule this entertaining event until we fully understand the damage and the lives lost." Meanwhile, Arnold's movie, Collateral Damage, which my company buiult for, dammit, is being postponed becayse of, well, the collateral damage... The new Tim Allen movie is being held back, too. Personally, I think it's good that they're doing this. But one day, not soon, but one day, we WILL have to return to "normalicy." One weird and errie day, we're going to start laughing and joking and smiling again. We'll never forget any of this, but we'll remember life before this, eventually... | ||||
