Also, with the afternoon drive, people can stay tuned in once they reach home. Once I reach work, no radio for me until I leave at 5. I would be limited to only 30 minutes a day of O & A! I know that sounds selfish, but, I can't tell you the countless times O & A have made me laugh after a bad day! That is one true benefit of having them on in the afternoons! Its great that everyone is so devoted to the show, but wake up early thats another thing. | Psychopath Registered: Feb. 01 | The whole reason I started listening to O&A was because I needed something to listen to in the afternoon. I couldn't listen in the morning. Also, I'm not sure they are ready to take on (radio edit)... not because of any lack of talent, but simply because of loyal fan base...O&A's army still isn't as big as (radio edit's) loyal 'till the death fan base and they would lose half of us in the switch. Granted, some people would cross over... if I was listening in the morning at all it would be O&A no doubt. Anyway, good luck to them wherever they may go or stay. | ||||

| O&A Board Veteran Registered: Oct. 00 | Well, Roger, I'd listen as much as possible if they moved to mornings. But, my listening time would definitely be cut down drastically. I am also concerned with the form and substance of the show. One of my favorite things about the show is the laid back, come and hang out, friends of the show atmosphere. Granted, with syndication would come the draw to get bigger names, but would it still be as spontaneous and filled with anticipation as it is now. Whatever, I'd listen as much as possible. I guess many of us would have to find ways to find a rebroadcast to keep up with what the show will become. They deserve their props no matter what, and if they can get a good deal and larger exposure, then I wish them luck.  Chef Corpse Boyardee is bringing the food, don't worry! < | ||||

You'd be hearing bands on their show and big names coming in just to hang out. There are pros as well as cons to mornings, but the same goes for afternoons where they are. Now what do you think? | ||||

My only concern would be, that IF they went to mornings would they be able to do half the bits they do now in the afternoon? I would think they would have to cut back and cut down on the (and I quote) "wild sheeeeeeeeeeeeit". I think more people still listen to Stern than will admit it.I would have a very difficult decision if O&A go head to head with him-probably would tune back & forth all morning. I would miss the "drop-in" comics if they go to mornings-I don't see many of them showing up at 6am if they're doing shows at 2am-unless they come in crazed and loaded like Sam Kinison used to do on Stern's show! | ||||

Personaly I hope they stay in afternoons on another station. In respect for great radio they have given me I want the best for Opie and Anthony. Do whats best for yourselves. And if moving to morrnings is the best for you guys then DO IT. I will try and listen. Hopefully I would be able to record shows and other suff.

I look forward to 5PM every day so I can hear the boys. If they weren't there at 5, I would be truly lost. But, if afternoons would increase their clout & paychecks, who am I to hold 'em back. If that's what I liked, I would be listening to another station now. It's got that great guys next door feel to it. Plus, if they went to another station, wouldn't they be expected to keep those big names coming back, not making them cry like we all love so much? | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | i usually have a long drive in the mornings so i would deffinataly listen. sorry sports guys but O&A are a hell of alot better. i also think that most women are driving & willing 2 WOW in the afternoon & they are more into it as they listen to O&A. prefferably i say they stay on in the after noons but it would b great if they were able 2 shut up Howard by beating the shit out of him in the ratings along side him. but only time will tell what station we will all listen 2 & @ what time we will all b listening  Visit this Website METS will go ALL THE WAY THIS YEAR !!!!!!!!!!!
