| Hanger-On Registered: Jun. 01  | Ron & Fez just arent giving out any new info ( i belive they really dont know)....however, ....... does anyone else notice the teasers they are using for O&A....the balck earl dating game debacle...it ends with the guys saying tune in to find out what happens,,if we come back. To me, this is a the definition of a teaser...the last thing heard "if we come back"....my uneducated guess...the boys live at 3 35 minutes till we all find out the truth! Bluto: Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no! Otter: Germans? Boon: Forget it, he's rolling. Bluto: And it ain't over now. | Hanger-On Registered: Oct. 00 | Okay, I decided I'm going to make up an official rumor about the whole situation. Remember, this is FACT based on information anyone can obtain freely right here in this post. In order to boost at least one station's overall ratings, Infinity is moving Howard to WNEW for Mornings, Ron and Fez will be doing the ll - 3, O&A will stay 3-7, Don and Mike will be LIve on K-Rock from 3-11 and tape delayed on WNEW from 7-11, Wheezer will take the 11-2 shift and Best/Worst of will fill the rest of the day. The entire radio station feed will be syndicated as a group to all of Howie's stations. RADIO CHICK will be moving to K-ROck in the morning opposite Howard until she quits. K-Rock will then change formats to Adult Contemporary as classic cock stations have low ratings and Infinity is dropping that format altogether. I know this is true, because I made it up myself.=-) Oh and by the way, My Mom's Box Stuck in the boonies, Forced underground, two minutes late. | ||||

Clear Channel Contracts Afternoon Cornerstones NEW YORK (O&ARN NEWSWIRE) - It appears that after three years of local fame, The Opie and Anthony Show is going big time. According to industry insiders Monday, the 'shock jock' duo of Opie (**** ******) and Anthony (Anthony *****) have come to terms on a 4-year deal with Clear Channel Communications to have their show syndicated on approximately a dozen stations in the northeastern United States with the possibility of expansion. Terms of the deal were not disclosed in this last minute signing but insiders in the negotiations speculated the duo would get $6.5 Million a year with a $1 Million signing bonus. The Opie & Anthony Show is the number one afternoon drive show in New York and have gained fame on their 'Whip 'em out Wednesday' promotion or 'WOW' for short. The concept involves placing a logo with the letters 'WOW' on your person or vehicle and having fans of the show proceed to expose their bare breasts, or in certain instances man junk, to him/her, or 'whip' for short. Opie and Anthony, or O & A for short came together in Boston in 1995. Their fame grew as their 'bits' became more and more jeopardizing to the stations they were at. The last straw was when, for an April Fools' Day joke, the duo announced the death of their mayor. This did not sit well with management who promptly threw the two out of Boston radio. Hired by WNEW-FM in New York, it took the pair only four Arbitron rating books to dethrone perennial New York radio personalities Mike Francesa and Chris Russo from the afternoon perch atop the ratings. "Anthony's off the hook, yo. Opie is sorta cool," says Michael Hunt, a rabid fan of the duo and member of the ever-growing 'O and A army' who communicate electronically on http://www.opieanthony.com. The move from Infinity Broadcasting to Clear Channel Communications means the possibility of better advertising campaigns for the show but the duo will once again have to go to a station needing ratings. Ken said it was both or none, so ant stood by his radio partner and said they were solid, and there was to be no oral pleasures for Ken. Ken then called in Melissa, but it wasn't Melissa, it was a android Melissa, and her fake skin melted off, and she tried to kill O&A, but she failed, but Ken wasn't done yet. As O&A tried to leave, Ken kidnapped them, put them in a Rocket ship, and had them sent to the astroid belt. The rocket has a timer on it that will have it return to earth on September 3rd at 6:00am.
