The only people I hear saying that SU is "seperate" from the rest of the board are people that never participate in SU. I won't deny that I like the reputation that SU has gotten. Everyone thinking that we're asshole computer / radio geeks sure seems to keep the stupid newbie posts to a minimum. So what if the SU'ers mainly stick to SU and poke their head out once in a blue moon? If this forum is in the same category as WDIL, then it shouldn't be such a problem to everyone, because it falls below the radar on OA.Com. I hang in here on occassion, and the people here are cool - barchy especially, what a sweet ass he has! Seriously, this is a message board, not a "who can hang in the best forums" board. There are lots of people who stick to the Wrestling Forum too, should we "smoke them out" as well and have them join the endless Naughty Nightie or Why Was Questions Locked threads? Sure, a message board works best when everyone interacts, but people should also post where and how they feel like posting. Look at me, I'm all over the place here - and as far as I can tell, I usually hover in the O/T-Gaming-Wrestling triangle, but I do hit GD, SU, FUB, etc. I like being all over the place - but not everyone does. Let people post where they like - once they feel pressure to do otherwise, they may decide its not worth coming here at all.  You can reach me through AIM or email. | O&A Board Veteran Registered: Jul. 00 | Thanks HGW... I was tempted to post something similar but, I didn't want people to think that I post too frequently in SU. Something I'd like to add though... There really isn't a whole lot of activity in this forum. I'd like to think that that is because we've got this Underground feed thing pretty well perfected and, there isn't much need to post but, for whatever reason, the majority of people involved in SU don't post a lot. Most of them came here to find out how and where to connect to a feed not to particpate on a message board. So, when people complain that SUers don't post in other forums... look around... they don't post in here either. As for LingRLonger... who? and, I hope you entered that in the sig pic contest. It's a obscure reference, but he's the only one I could think of that got his ass kicked nearly as bad. Thanks for describing my situation as far as posts go. I came here to find a feed (although I shouldn't need one, because the syndication feeds reach all corners of the U.S. - TOOL!) found what I needed without pissing everone off, and went about my business. I don't have the time to waste in FC. Not that I fear a fight, but if I want a fight I'll bring my wife to happy hour with me. That way after my fight I get to have makeup sex with a member of the opposite sex instead of my hand "I'm sorry I made you type that!!" | ||||
