Like I said, it can probably be boiled down to semantics. But, I don't think it's as trivial as the "nigga"/"nigger" debate. Oh and big ed, I hope you drown in a pool of hepatitis C.

One of the biggest causes of racial strife, is double standards. That is why I kept asking. You say it is wrong, and the world is just supposed to accept it. It would be like saying You can say you whites, but don't you dare say white people, or whiteys. There is no difference, except how you define it. I have heard white people say it is okay to use the word nigger, because they don't mean it for all black people, and they mean it for some white people. With this I disagree. But trying to take away words, because you want to change their meaning, isn't helping stop the problem either. How about when blacks refer to whites as crackers/crackas, or peckerwoods, or whatever else. I do enjoy comedy, and sometimes BET has some funny shit on. However I listen to references about whities in very derogatory terms. I think it comes down to some people just want to be pissed. Kid, you are pretty laid back and cool about stuff.
