Mod or not I would still have told you to shut your trap, simply because you have NO RIGHT to bitch! You do not pay to use this board.. it is clearly stated in the disclaimer that the board management reserves the right to delete any thread they see fit. And the whole concept of "Mods as Gods" is bullshit, that people like you try to use to humilate the mods into NOT doing there jobs... that's right... JOBS. As in responsibilities.. to maintain the board as the board owner sees fit. If you were ripped on for quoting intelligent literature.. it was probably because your quote was either out of context.. or had no visible bearing whatsoever on the conversation at hand. But that is neither here nor there.. I didn't see it, so I really can't comment on it. However, let me put this out for your perusal... Matt owns the board.. He has set aside specific forums to discuss generally themed topics. Why then.. if complaints about how the board is run are to be discussed.. has he not set up a "Complaints Forum"? Would you like the answer? It's because he doesn't want complaints about how the board is run on the board.. if you have a problem with the management.. air it in either IM or E-mail. NOT HERE. Even in Fightclub.. Froys first statement was "I will not tolerate attacks against how the board is run, that includes the management".. or something to that extent. You walked into a conversation were at least HALF of the board moderators were involved.. a good portion of whom (including myself) were obviously agitated, complain about them.. and expect to not suffer ANY consequences? Are you THAT dense? All i gave you was a strike.. a WARNING.. if you can't take it for what it means maybe you should just leave. NO! I am NOT a Goth Dude!! In case you didn't notice, the totality of the responses to Drudge Jr. have been in response to his attempt to dictate Board policy. This is not a democracy, nor is it a civics class. If you want to think I'm responsible for shit like Sacco and Vanzetti (who I believe were innocent but it doesn't really matter because they were found guilty) then that's your own twisted phobia against the media. Although that leads to an interesting tangent. Isn't a kid with a slow modem and eight semi-reliable sources from around major news hot spots just a proportional metaphore for the real media? Just a thought. The Survivor thing was a self-deprovacating (i know I spelled it wrong) joke. If you couldn't tell that maybe you should read it again. Comparing me to a Nazi wasn't really my intention, but it was the most logical quote I could remember for this situation. I was merly comentating on how you were kinda fighting about how many "strikes" I had. Don't say your smarter than someone you've never met. If we didn't run the board the way that Froy wants us to, the board would be a fucking mess. And to post your opinion in a thread that has already annoyed a number of mods, is just not cool. DrudgeJr had a post moved and that's the bottom line (to steal a line from Sean) He does not need this to be explained to him, nor does anyone else have to get an explanation if a thread is moved and deleted. It's all in the disclaimer that every single person here agreed to when the joined this board. So that is the way things are, you can post your opinions if you want to. We will not cencor them.
