| O&A Board Regular Registered: Feb. 01  | Now I know that there will never be equality in the board but i think that the reason there is less activity is that the newbies are losing faith in the board. Usually I'll see a newbie that is makin like his 1st or 2nd post and he gets bashed(sometimes they just don't know any better). To tell u the truth the only way u can truly become a productive member if they have time to learn from experience. Most of the veterans on this board have become the veterans that they are is from experience. So if you want to have more vets and smarter posters is to let them learn from their mistakes.  I have graduated from Sephiroth's school for newbies, also thanx for the sig pic. I think that at one point it is you're time in the barrel and I think my time is coming soon. E-mail Me | ||||

Screaming after someone's first post, is like shooting a new born up with heroin; it's bound to get effed up. While the term "Kinder Gentler Board" is tossed around a lot, nothing really happens. There are enough people here that treat newbies with a modicum of respect. And the board has gotten alot nicer, which Im not so sure is a good thing. At least when the board was pissing people off, there were some good arguements. Fight Club is just sad. I think the fights would go quicker through the US mail. | ||||

| O&A Board Veteran Registered: May. 00 | austin agreed, but whos doing that bashing?? mods or veterans???? exactly its the veterans now who are doing the bashing. its usually the mods, or froy more than likely, who will tell the person to go get adopted. do i care people are unhappy the way the board is? yes i do. do i think me and the rest of the mods do the best job we can? yes i do. the only problem i have with anything said is the bashing of us mods. unless you have done this, you really dont know what its about. it seems like no big deal to do, but the second guessing by some of the posters is unbelievable. why did this get censored, why did this get moved, why did this get deleted. now thats not most of you posters and no one in this thread, so dont get defensive but it has happened and we have all seen it. but all we do is take shit about how we do our "job" and what we do. sorry if i made anyone upset, but thats one of the things that gets to me, the bashing without any merit behind it | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Sep. 00 | I think the board has slowed down recently but will pick up. people come and go but thats what it was like from the begining. it may seem like the board was better certain times and activity was up because certain times like last summer and early fall there was alot of controversy with the show which brought more people here. when theres big show controversy more people come. not to mention all the days when there wasnt a show for some reason or another (ants court dates) 3 ocklock here used to be a madhouse. the last big show controversy was three and a half months ago. wait till we get to the heart of spring and summer when big show events happen you'll see this place will get packed again. my theory is the activity here is all tied in with the show </i><br />
