| O&A Board Regular Registered: Aug. 00  | barry you're right, rotj was originally revenge. and return of the jedi is a good title, since it showed the return of the light side jedi to the galaxy! also, i believe that lucas, tho he originally planned episodes 7-9, has decided not to do those, mostly because of all the books that have been written about the years following jedi, as well as the fact that the actors would be too old once he finally got his shit together to film the movies. | O&A Board Veteran Registered: Sep. 00 | Another thing about RotJ- the reason it changed from Revenge to Return was because a Jedi wouldn't seek revenge. I also have seen posters. I know the original ending had Lando dying. Another thing I was fascinated in was that Lucas originally asked David Lynch to direct RotJ (Just Jon, I'm not sure if you know this fact but you probably do like it). God the entire movie would be totally different and better. He opted to do Elephant Man instead. And how could they make Jar Jar more serious- give him glasses? The narrator in Fight Club is the man we will be, Patrick Bateman in American Psycho is the man we want to be Eliza Dushku- Hotter Than Britney | ||||
