When will this damn thread end?!?!? The only reason I posted this is because I can use it when I build my pc's and sell the comp for $100 more. I know about the warez versions but when you sell a computer to someone who knows nothing about computers they want XP, not the warez version

It has become the Win XP FAQ thread - nothing wrong with that Tubesteak. Besides, your deal is long over so a WaReZ version would be the next best deal :)

Win XP does a pretty good job. It has a few minor errors with some older games like Roller Coaster Tycoon and Serious Sam (those are the two that I came accross so far)but for the most part is pretty stable. If you can get a pirated copy or even if you buy it, I suggest installing it along with your current operating system and running a dual boot. I am running ME and XP at the moment and my computer can do just about anything. This is what I have found works. If you find another more efficient way to do it I would love to hear it.

EDIT: I am using what I believe to be a corporate edition. Upon installation it asked about registering and in bold letters it said "This is optional", clicked no and had no problems after that whatsoever. XP for 4 weeks and no lockups. IM me when I'm online and I will see what I can do about sending an ISO image of it over.
