But you haven't seen the Producer's Cut yet. It explains everything. The Thorn, Druids, the final sacrafice, the blood line, and how Michael Myers becomes a father.
*blink blink* *blink blink* You know when your horror movie involves Druids and mythology, that kind of defeats any horror it once had. Did it explain how Michael knew how to drive Loomis's car though

Krahzee, I think the reason he went with Episode IV to begin the series was because it was the easiest to make on the limited budget he had, and also if he went forward and did a full trilogy, that was a lot easier at that time than creating a clone army as will appear in the next one.

Yes, you're right. He actually said in an interview once that the reason that he waited so long to do episode 1 was because he was waiting for the technology to catch up with his ideas. Also, 4 stands alone pretty well. It's got the full storyline arc there. The Deathstar is destroyed, and that could be the end of the story should the movie not do well enough to justify a sequel. The same could not be said for one, since most of the "bad guys" are still around and in power.

And the other thing to remember is that most of the technology that he was waiting for has been invented by his companies. Between ILM and the other gazillion Lucas-owned corporations, so much new technology has come along that's made a lot of movies possible that otherwise could not have been made. He needed to catch up to himself.

Bloody Anus: In Halloween he breaks into a Halloween costume store where he steals what he needs. Then he gets the knife from breaking into someone's home.

Ugh, the movie was a poor carbon copy of the first. It was one of those, let's try to use every gag that worked the first time a second time, films.

Ok, I'm curious. Why does everyone seem to agree that T2 was better than Terminator? Is the kicker the special effects? Cuz hell yeah they were better, but the original was dark and well written, without so many of the cliches that crept into the T2. My vote would be for the first as the better of the two.

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly better than A Fistful of Dollars
While both are excellent movies... To the best of my knowlege... the two are unrelated other than being Spaghetti Westerns having Clint Eastwood in the lead role as an unnamed man... if you want to get technical... "Unforgiven" was more of a sequel to "The Good, The Bad & The Ugly"

...if you don't believe me, then look on the IMDB and see the comments...and i quote:

This movie is absolutely brilliant. If you haven't seen it yet, I strongly urge to do so. Immediately. (And then, go watch `Unforgiven' . . . in a way, I think that `Unforgiven' is the sequel to `The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly - it's the story of what eventually happened to the Man With No Name.) `The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly' is easily one of the best Westerns ever made. A++

Fisful of Dollars/A Few Dollars More/Good, The Bad and The Ugly are all called the Sergio Leone Man with No Name/"Dollars" Trilogy. In fact Eastwood wears the same clothing in the first two and throughout GBU (really a prequel) acquires the clothes he wears in the other two
