| Hanger-On Registered: Mar. 02  | Hmmm I love rabid fans they are always last to see the manipulation. Lets take a look at this, O&A hurting in D.C. D&M hurting in NY fake fued every fan listens to the others show to get the full soap opera and since they share demographics the advertisers win. Also since both shows make a point of insulting fake radio DJ's they are above reporaoch and not called on it for doing it themselves. Neat Huh? Course I could be wrong and it could be real but the end result is the same, both shows get a ratings boost in thier "Oppositions" home city | ||||

| Hanger-On Registered: Apr. 01 | Look how much attention Don and Mike are getting now from this site.. I notice some people who post and say I listen to the show to hear what they will say about O and A or how bad callers will abuse them. At first I thought this feud was real , but now i'm having my doubts it might be somewhat exagerated. I could be wrong, but who knows I guess in time we will tell.. I just know it's got me to listen to Don and mike some to hear what they will say , so if it's a trick they got me .. on a side note. Don said they have a contract with a no cut clause.. So he was bragging no matter how bad the ratings are , they will be on for at least 2 yrs PEACE | ||||

Notice that Opie & Anthony would not mention their names; sure, they'd let the callers call in about their first show in Philly, but they took no stance. I think Ken Stevens et al want a radio duel, an we are feeding into it by listening to the others' shows like nullper said, but O&A want no part of it. I think they can see the writing on the wall: D&M moving to YSP is going to be their death knell. Corn- the tracer-bullets of the digestive system | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Mar. 02 | Just a few facts to consider. 1. O&A made mention of the crappy lead in rating from the show before them in the past. That can only hurt you. That also fits in with the 18 minutes of commercials Opie was pissed about. Why where there 18 minutes of commercials? Cause Don & Mike didn't take all the spot breaks they should have. That hurts O&A 2. Don & Mike have less than 18 months left on thier contracts. They anounced it one day when they were pissed they were not being put on in Philly at the time. They threatened to leave. Why move them back to afternoons and bump O&A (who are showing progress in DC). YOu in theroy screw up midays anyway because they are supposedly #1 in DC. 3. Why piss off O&A further? D&M are on JFK with O&A and Stern. IF O&A leave, NEW's revenue goes to shit since they are the biggest show there. Stern, as much of an ass as he is, would still draw ratings at JFK if D&M left. Who would if O&A left when thier contract was up? Politics aside, Ken Stevens ass still is based on keeping the revenue/ratings there. Mark my words, O&A will have the ultimate victory (No D&M) it will just take 17 or so more months | ||||
