| Psychopath Registered: Mar. 02 | The OA/DM war is a sham. I think this whole fight is convienantly happening during a time when DM need a jump charge. No doubt about it, DM need the help in NYC and OA could use a little bit themselves in DC. A radio dj war is just what the doctor ordered. Im still hoping OA come back and just do their own show and not even mention DM. They are a waste of airtime and dont deserve the acknowledgment. He said his target demo is the "money" demo of 24-54 year olds while the O&A target demo is 18-25 year olds. LIE!!! O&A's target is 18-49 olds. Basically the same age group. Nice try, deek! Mike bitched that Anthony only does Dice impressions and nobody cares. Maybe now WNEW will put Ron & Fez on middays (by the way, how the hell does a crappy show like Don & Mike get 5 hours after Ron & Fez only got 3 at midday????? I have listened to Stern for 15 years, and since Opie and Anthony came along, I'm finding Stern to be alittle boring, and Don and Mike, I just don't see it, how do these guys get ratings. They just Fucking Suck, Army here this loud and clear, they are doing this to save there ass in NY, this is a ratings boost attempt, don't fall for it, they want the Army to listen to there show and feed into O&A when they come on, don't fall for it, they can have D.C., the Army can have the other 500 markets, they will never get to O and A's NY ratings, and that is all that matters New York is the shit, you got that, you write your own ticket, I don't care Don and Mike where O and A live, whether the Hamptons or not, they deliver a fun and extremely entertaining show, every single day WOW< WOW< WOW, enough said......TopFlyer :mad: | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | Me thinks that management suspended both shows. Either that or told them to take some time off and cool down. Either way, it sounds like a suspension to me. If so, I say it's bullshit. Not for Don & Mike because they deserve it. They started this shit and had two shows on badmouthing O&A. All Opie & Anthony had was the one show on Thursday to respond and even then most of it was just a few jabs here and there. Bottom line is those assholes D&M deserve the suspension, not O&A.

| Psychopath Registered: Sep. 01 | The new "Steve Speaks" on Foundry Music makes me think both shows may have taken the (first 4 days of the) week for personal reasons. He says leaves of absences like these are "not always the direct result of another radio show" and that "sometimes there are other reasons entirely that shows need to take time off." Perhaps management wanted to, as you said, cool both shows off for a while, but for different reasons.  GodBlessAmerica. | ||||
