Thundar the Barbarian was great. Future post-apocalyptic world. Seeing them find the lost city of Atlantis, amazed by escalators, seeing technology as magic, awesome.

And what about Josie and the Pussycats in space?
Or the Scooby Doo rip-off with the talking dune buggy?
Ducktales?
Dungeon & Dragons? With the kids who go on an amusement park ride and get sucked into the D&D world and meet the wanna-be Yoda?
Star Trek: The Animated Series?

oh my god am i glad that i started this thread so many memories . . . Hair Bear Bunch and Heathcliff (i loved his laugh, heehehheeehehehhooo).
There is one that has not been mentioned. i forget the name of it. It was based off of animals that had powers based on earth, wind, fire and water. I can't remember the name, but i remember having the toy figures, they were small and they had the hologram of what power they possesed on their chest. Damn i wish i could remember that one.

Garfield Goose with Clutch Cargo and his pal Paddlefoot. Now let's see if anyone has ever heard of them?

Clutch Cargo...is that the cartoon with live-action lips super-imposed on a character's head when he or she was speaking? That shit totally freaked me out when I was younger.

What about the Ghostbusters rip off, where the evil guy used to wear a big cloak and send people through some warp thing. There were only two or three ghostbuster guys, and they had a big Gorilla side-kick.

Actually that was an animated version (done by Filmation, who also did He-Man & She-Ra) of a mid-70s live action tv show called Ghostbusters. When the movie "The Ghostbusters" came out in the 80s, Filmation sued Dan Ackroyd & Harold Ramis (and won) because they have owned the rights to the name "Ghostbusters" since 1976. Filmation raced their cartoon (based on the TV show) out first, so those in charge of the other animated version one-upped them by calling their show "The Real Ghostbusters."

I don't know why I know shit like this, but I know it can't be healthy.

Underdog - I was real pissed when they stopped using the underdog balloon in the Macy's thanksgiving parade;

Bugs Bunny - #1, no question.
Original spiderman - had that song that wouldn't leave your brain

I don't know if any oldsters remember, but I used to watch Marvel Super Heroes on channel 9;
each day of week was a diffent comic.

Rocky & Bullwinkle - I especially loved the bits, such as fractured fairytales and Mr. Peabody.

Yup. That's it. Damn you're good with this stuff. I think it's time to put a cap on how long you can spend in front of the tv.

My favorite cartoons were Looney Tunes, Tom & Jerry, and the ever favorite, The Hanna Barbera hour.

There are 3 types of leaders and heroes.
Some are born leaders, some are built from the ground up by experience, and some are the right people at the right time.

Barely, although I do remember the music.

others:
Magilla Gorilla
Crazy Cat & Minute Mouse
Atom Ant
George of the Jungle
Felix the Cat (whose enemy was "Master Cylinder")
Beany & Cecil
Mighty Mouse (which always makes me think of Andy Kaufman)

Then there were a series of Hanna Barbarra cartoons that were very similar, like Wacky Racers

In 60's they also had those Marionette shows, like "The Thunderbirds"

No, when I start randomly singing obscure themes,
that's when you need to start getting scared. ;)
