Psychopath Registered: Aug. 01 | the NFC East sucks. Goddamn right the Giants should be 6-1, or at least 5-2. And look at the first place team, their 3-3 and lucky to have that record. I didn't get the Giants game in S. Jersey, what the hell happened? I had to watch it through shitty graphics on NFL.com. I still think the Giants win the division. Psychopath Registered: Aug. 01 | the Giants are still better than the Skins. Your right about them not being that good this year. All things being equal, still happy to be a Giants fan. Dan Snyder will run the Skins into the ground. He's the worst owner in all of the 4 major sports, and I think the Redskins fans out there should petition to run his ass out of town. That being said, can you guys take one from the Eagles please? "Somebody took my phone number and called Afghanistan. Afghanistan! Psychopath Registered: Jun. 01 | I can't believe the fucking Giants didn't pick up a single player in a trade!!! They could have finally shipped that space cadet Amani Toomer out of town for even a middle-of-the-pack receive who has the ability to keep his head in the game every down. And, perhaps we can get people on the O-line who are younger than 45? With two very talented running backs, the Giants should be doing everything possible to get them a line to run behind. And finally, the coaches: Who among them believes the season doesn't begin until mid-November? What is this crap of losing focus, fucking up and never going for it?!?! Fassell must know all he has to do is sweep Dallas and Arizona (which won't be as easy as it seems these days) and the division is more or less his. With that attitude, -however, the Giants will struggle to finish 8-8. The defense played okay against a fired-up Redskin team. The special teams were [norton]AWFUL[/norton] and the conservative play-calling should have Sean Payton out the door by the end of the year. Shit, Eric Metcalf, 40 pounds overweight and out of football shape, busted out a huge punt return... there has to be someone out there who can run passing routes. Anyone? Can't we convince Sterling Sharpe to come out of retirement? Maybe even Phil McConkey- at least he catches the fucking ball! To sum up: If the offensive line could pass-protect and run block, the Giants could gain positive yardage. The reason Collins has to keep hitting his check-down receiver is because he has no time and the receivers can't break free of coverage. And, if Collins keeps getting pushed backwards, he is going to keep throwing high; the receivers should try and go after at least a couple of those. So many drops, so many times Collins hits them square in the hands. CATCH THE MOTHERFUCKER OR WORK IN THE PARKING LOT, ASSHOLES!!!!! AAAARRRGHH! THREE WINNABLE GAMES IN A ROW...LOST! Psychopath Registered: Aug. 01 | damn. got away w/ a victory. i really didn't think the giants had it in them to come from behind 17-0 w/ Collins playing the way he did. he actually put up good numbers, by almost single-handedly lost the game for the giants. two pics for touchdowns and a fumble that led to a touchdown. I guess the d didn't play too bad. i live in eagles country and of course, got shitty fox programs instead of a football game. i hope arizona beats those assholes today. Hopefully they got it all out of their system and will play football like they did in the 2nd half from now on. There is a HUGE HUGE difference between 3-5 and 4-4. They couldve lost the season today, but instead, are now hopefully going to go on a roll. Nice game for Dayne today, besides that big fumble. He really jumpstarted the team today in the 2nd half. O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | Yeah, the Giants are so scary talented, you guys really need to wake up and realize that it is time to seriously consider a QB change. Had the Cowboys been a team with a decent defense, the Giants would now be riding a 4 game winning streak. There was all this talk about who have the Eagles beaten, but seriously..... who have the Giants beaten? What are you looking at?

Psychopath Registered: Jun. 01 | I just hope the Giants don't need another two or three losses before they "wake up" and get serious about making a drive for the playoffs. Fassel should get this team ready to play in AUGUST, not November! We'll see how the Giants do in Minnesota and later against Green Bay. I would like to see them take that game back from the Eagles too. Until this weekend, they have been snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. The talent is there (except on the O-line, but it's servicable), but the execution isn't. Anyone think the Tuna would come back for another tour of duty? Psychopath Registered: Aug. 01 | FUCK! The Giants lose again, and have the Raiders, at home at least, next week. I really thought the Giants would win the division this year, but ever since that Rams game their hearts havn't been in it. 150 yards in penalties last night, thats horrible, especially TWO offensive pass interference calls. How often do those come up. Why the hell didn't they run the ball more. Didn't Tiki have almost 50 yards rushing in the first quarter? Did they watch the average-at-best Duce Staley look like an all-pro against that shitty Vikes defence? Kerry Collins is not the answer. He's got talent and a good arm, but he keeps in coughing up the ball and throwing interceptions, maybe he's just too stupid to play in the NFL, maybe he needs to drink again. He should start for the rest of the season, after that the Giants need to draft or pick up a young QB, or see what Palmer can do. Fuck Randy Moss and his fucking standing around before he ran into the end zone. He's an exciting player, and the most dangerous WR in the league, but he's a selfish fuck and a poor teammate. That of-line fukin sux, i think some are getting too old. and one interception was tipped at the line.. I agree that he is no jon elway and he cant run to save his life but he is not the giants problem. how do you loose 150 yrds in penalties ..FUCK!! the season is almost over.. and yes fuck randy moss            [link]http://webpages.charter.net/brenda/bush.html[/link]

O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | Wow, i think its time to push the panic button. 1 and a half games behind the Eagles and the Eagles have an easy schedule. Plus we play the Raiders next week. Collins holds the ball like a loaf of bread when he scrambles, i am getting sick of him. Granted the O-Line is getting older, but Collins makes some horrible decisions. And the penalties are killer, we have no brains on the team. I expect an upset over the Raiders next week, they HAVE to save the season. Fan of the Giants and the Rangers. Psychopath Registered: Aug. 01 | quote: yes, collins has a good arm. i never said he couldn't complete a pass. but he's had WAY too many turnovers in the past few games. i'd rather see a less talented, more consistent quarter back for the giants. he doesn't make good decisions, i don't know what his problem is. i know the long-snapper, whats-his-name was at center monday, but collins has be fumbling long before that. i really think he just may be too stupid to be an nfl QB, i can't think of what else it could be. Psychopath Registered: Sep. 01 | In case it makes anybody feel better, Randy Moss was fined $10,000 for his childish conduct on the field, Monday. It's too bad such a talent will never win a ring, but with his attitude he doesn't deserve shit. "The league fined Vikings rookie linebacker Patrick Chukwurah $5,000 for kicking Giants offensive tackle Luke Petitgout in the fourth quarter. Petitgout was fined $7,500 for slamming Chukwurah to the turf during their fight." Go Big Blue on Sunday, help us get a first round bye. :) GodBlessAmerica.

O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | Well, in order for Fassel's statement to come true, they must win this game on Sunday against arguably the best team in football (almost definitely the best team in the AFC). However, it can be done, and i am confident that it will be done. The Raiders one glaring weakness is defending the run. SO, if we can get Barber going, and we can get some special teams help from Ron Dixon (for once), and a break here or there from our secondary, and we will be over .500 again. Oh yeah, and Collins CANNOT fumble the fucking ball. I just wish that these guys didnt need a guarantee to play as well as they can play. Fan of the Giants and the Rangers. Psychopath Registered: Jun. 01 | And the fucking Giants fucking lost, 28-10. a must-win game and they cannot get out of their own way. Sure, only 40 yards in penalties and complete incompetence in the secondary (that's what you get when you have Sehorn at 70% and two rookies). I read in Sports Illustrated that Shaun Williams & Ron Stone are among the free-agents-to-be at the end of the season. How much would that hurt to see them go? The only talented and heatlhy offensive lineman and the best part of the secondary? I read through the play-by-play on espn.com... so many poor play calls. Tiki Barber averaged something like six yards in the game and only got 19 carries? Time to shelf Ron Dayne and let Tiki save the season- he's been the only consistent player on offense for the past five years. And lay off Collins- he does need to hold the ball when he's flushed out of the pocket, granted, but only Ike Hilliard bothers to get open on broken plays (and, with that woeful offensive line, there are a lot of broken plays) and come back to the ball. How many times has Collins bounced the ball off the hands and chests of his receivers? The sad part is that this is the most talented offensive team the Giants have ever had- talent at running back, receiver and QB... but still no offensive line. Running Roman Oben out of town two years ago was a good first step, but this team still has not bothered to take the next step... Pettigout is a backup at best- too many penalties. Just hand the ball to Tiki... touchdowns will come. If the Eagles can't score more than a field goal against the Redskins, this team might actually use this weak division as a back door into the playoffs. Who knows? I am one Fassel press conference away from writing the team off. Tiki averages 5.1 yards per carry, second only to Marshall Faulk and Detriot's Fred Taylor. GIVE HIM THE DAMN BALL! And I thought Ronde was coming to NY... might go the other way around before we know it. Corn- the tracer-bullets of the digestive system
