Psychopath Registered: Mar. 01 | I'd like to give props to all TRUE Diamondback fans. The best team won. No team that hits like the Yankees did deserve to win the World Series. TO THE REST OF YOU JEALOUS FUCKERS: You can take my big fat cock and suck on it. The Yankees are the second best baseball team this year. BETTER than the Mets, Red Sox, anyone you can name. The Yankees have twice as many championships in the last 6 years than the Mets have IN THEIR HISTORY. And don't even mention the Red Sox. So, the Yankees aren't the best this year. You can't win them all. Props to the D'Backs.

Hope Yankee fans get used to t hat 'losing' thing...after they lose a bunch of people to retirement and free agency, It'll be a few years after Jeter goes to the Hall that they get back to the playoffs, nevermind the WS. 15-2!!! I TOLD you they'd lose! HAHAHAHA

Psychopath Registered: Mar. 01 | quote: Hey. The Yankees aren't likely going anywhere. They could keep Tino, Brosius, and Knoblauch if they wanted to. Knoblauch was useless this year. Brosius is definitely clutch, but his play seems to be slipping. They could easily keep Tino if they wanted to, but if you had to choose between him and Giambi, who would you choose? The Yankees WILL get one or the other, and they are winners either way. O'Neill is retiring, and that will definitely be a loss, but these ARE THE YANKEES!!! No matter how much everyone bitches or whines, the Yankees will go out and spend $$$, get what they need, and put a quality team on the field again.

See you all there. Due to the graphic nature of this program, viewer discretion is advised. Kindest Regards, Your Name

O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | Ill give it to be Yanks, these games were very competitive. They were 2 outs away from the championship...enough with that crap This is the end of the dynasty, and THANK GOD FOR THAT. Cool to have Johnson winning Games 6 and 7. I cant wait to go to class tommorrow and just look around at the sad look on all these yankee fans, it will definitely make me feel good :). And Jeter got banged up too, fun night for me lol. BTW, the Committee's objectives were completed, which is very good. quote: LMMFYBO!! funny and true at the same time :) Objective 2: Root for Braves to exit from playoffs- COMPLETE Objective 3: Root for the Diamondbacks to win the World Series- COMPLETE This message was edited by Cluster F on 11-5-01 @ 12:54 AM

O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | quote: The Yankees are known as big spenders and buying championships but they get free agents for pitching, the rest of the team is from their own system or previous trades. The Diamondbacks, are baseball's Free Agency team. They are a 4 year old franchise and there is only 1 guy who was on the team in the first year. I am proud of the Yankees. They had one hell of a run and brought NY to life again. Don't give me this bullshit though that Arizona is an expansion franchise because that is bullshit. They beat us and they deserve it. Schilling and Johnson pitched one hell of a series. Give credit to Clemens as he pitched his heart out last night and earned what should be another Cy Young this year. With mariano this is his first blown save since 1997 against Cleveland. I will still take Mariano over every other closer in baseball. He will save the game 99 times out of a hundred. Thank you Yankees for all the memories these past 6 years. Still the best team in baseball. We will be back and we will be back stronger than ever.

Psychopath Registered: Apr. 01 | Well, I for one can't complain about the Yankees season. We had a great run and I'd like to congradulate them. I can't complain. They gave us fans the most exciting World Series Ever. All you other fans can have your moment in the sun, reveling in lose. But next year, The Yankees will win it again. And the Mets will be in last in the NL East. On a side note, If Arizona does move over to the AL West, This could be a hell of a rivalry. At least for a few years.

O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | LN & snot, quote: This is the kind of shit that gives Yankee fans bad name. This is the reason I had joined Crack Committee. I must say most of the Yankee fans here have been reasonable; my opinion of Sheetbag did a 180. You spout crap, take the crap like a man. You act like a good winner, then when you lose you'll be treated with respect. Take the opportunity to act with the class you hope your team has. Sheet, The mighty have fallen for today. Even though I am a Met fan, I respect the current Yankee organization. I do not doubt they will be competitive and might even win again next year. However, the Yankees have had an unbelievable mystique, where other teams felt a Yankee win was inevitable when things started to happen (see A's); now, while Yankees have had a great team, they are not invincible. Officer Joe: Giambi - maybe. (I think if they want him they'll get him, but I'm not sure they want him.) Vlad - no way; take it to the bank, Vlad will not be in Yankee outfield next year. O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | Teen, Yankees have good management, but lets not think that Money doesn't have anything to do with trades, etc. Clemens - traded because Blue Jays didn't want to spend money. Knoblach - traded because Minnesota didn't want to spend money Soriano - signed as Free Agent by giving $2Million to a 17 yr old El Duque - signed as a Free Agent Tino Martinez - traded because Seattle didn't want to spend the money Stanton - Free Agent. and lets not forget the minor leaguers yankees spend fortune on, such as Drew Henson, and that Cuban (Morales) who never made it. Yes, Stick Michael has had Yankees spend money wisely; Yes, spending money is not cheating because that is the American way, and within the rules, but don't deny its existance either. Just be happy that you have a team smart enough to hire good execs, and willing to do whatever to win. Clemens pitched well, did so in the NL park, and is a 1st ballot HOF, but I'll continue to hate the SOB. Respect - yes. Like - never. O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | quote: True yankee fan huh? You really want to get rid of Tino after what he has done for you guys this year, especially in the playoffs. And get real with Vlad, hes not going to the yanks. If you dont want Tino, the Mets will be glad to take him off of your hands. quote: Yet another uneducated post by snoteater. The fact is that the yankees are going to revamp their team, they are getting too old right now. THe rest of the AL will be there next year, including the A's, who will have another year of experience, and im sure the M's will be there too, as well as any other team who signs free agents. The yanks are gonna be done for a while now, which is why this dynasty is over :) Also, PeterDragon and all other Crack Committee members, mission accomplished :), it was fun. Now the goal for me anyway for next year is to focus on the Mets winning the Series.
