O&A Board Regular Registered: Aug. 01 | Great game, Richter was great today. That save on Bulis was spectacular. Varada got what he deserved, 3 game suspension. Hopefully he'll learn to keep his damn stick on the ice instead of hitting players that are beeter than him with it.

O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | Actually I hoped Varada would get more games, but we'll all live with 3. Rangers on nice progression. Good Consistancy, good goaltending, good team work, nice hitting. It's especially nice to see rangers keep it up in 2nd night of back-to-back games. Next stop vs. Philly on ESPN

O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | Awesome game tonight by the Rangers once again. Ritcher made an absolutely sensational save late in the 3rd period to keep them tied, and great job by Fleury at the end. Only 1 point behind the 1st place (hahaha) Isles, and hopefully we can keep this roll going and dismantle the Flyers. I will look forward to that encounter, just to see the Flyers get their asses handed to them. Fan of the Giants and the Rangers. Hater of the rest of the NFC East and the Devils.

O&A Board Regular Registered: Aug. 01 | It'll be great to see Lindros play the Flyers, I hope he scores a goal :). That would just crush Bobby Clarke's heart. Rangers are on a roll and if they beat Philly they'll be ahead of the Isles because they have a guaranteed 2 points vs. Pit, I hope it goes to OT..

Psychopath Registered: Jun. 01 | Big game against the Flyers tomorrow. Should be interesting to see which flyer trys to take a cheap shot at lindros. My guess its DeJardin. But I wouldn't put it past the head coach to run out there and try to take him out either... VOS IS ABOUT AS FUNNY AS OPENING A LETTER CONTAINING ANTHRAX AND GIVING IT YOUR BABY!!!

O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | This is the ULTIMATE payback for the shit that the Flyers organization gave Eric Lindros. I would love to see Eric rip them apart. Big game, and it will be the game where we move to first place baby. Fan of the Giants and the Rangers. Hater of the rest of the NFC East and the Devils.

O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | Anyone else think that Bobby Clarke and the coach have some goon gunning for Lindros tonight? I really really think tonight is going to be a dirty game and a few guys will try to knock Lindros out of the game or possibly ("accidentally") end his career.

O&A Board Regular Registered: Aug. 01 | Lindros definetly showed up tonight. The crowd went bizurk(sp?) after he scored that opening goal! God I hate Bobby Clarke :) But what I am wondering is how the Blue Shirts are on a 6 game win streak if they have allowed 30 shots in almost every game. Richter is just the team saviour defensively. Anyway, we'll take the win, especially since it was the Flyers :)

Psychopath Registered: Jun. 01 | Great game. The whole team played great, especially the F-L-Y line. That kid york is gonna be a great player if not already. What more can you say about Fleury? That guy is everywhere. The only thing that scares me is the fact the rangers allow so many shots on goal. Richter is gonna be burnt out by the allstar break? Other than that, awesome game by THE FIRST PLACE NY RANGERS!!! VOS IS ABOUT AS FUNNY AS OPENING A LETTER CONTAINING ANTHRAX AND GIVING IT YOUR BABY!!!

O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | God, Flyer fans are such assholes. They all make the 2 hour drive to the Garden, they are all wearing this same cheap orange shirt with an 88 on the back crossed off. And then they act all tough. During that part in the 2nd period where they were fixing the glass, a group of them walk around with their shirts and a sign saying Lets Go Flyers. And then it started raining beer on them, Some girl comes down and starts attacking them, then they go after the girl, the Ranger fans come down and start kicking their ass, and then security comes down and kicks out all the Flyers fans. Ah you gotta love it. Great Game anyway, I got a little worried there after the Flyers scored those quick 3rd Period Goals, but give the Rangers credit for hanging in there. This team is definetly playing their best Hockey in Years. Lets keep this up and beat the Penguins on Saturday.

O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | Nice game last night. Great to see Lindros get the first goal of the game, and that check in the 3rd period was great to see. Got a little tight for a few minutes, but the Rangers are showing some fortitude and confidence that they havent shown in years. Hopefully we wont stop here. LETS GO RANGERS! O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | I was out, so I only heard third period, but they sure are on a roll. When Flyers got those 2 quick goals to tie, I started to wonder if it would all unravel; Rangers showed a fortitude they haven't had in years. Isles, Devils, & Flyers all knocked off. I know its early, but its a good sign. It still concerns that they allow so many shots. I know Richter is standing on his head, but how many Ulanov give-aways can we take? When is Kloucek going to be able to play 25 min? we need that solid defense, and its been a while since anyone could deliver hits like him.

O&A Board Regular Registered: May. 00 | Incredible game. I was in 206 and saw one of the half dozen fights or so last night. It's good now that richter starting to play like the richter of old. A few things. They should have put the firement closer. Why give our heroes the 400s? C'mon, give them 100s if not lower. Plus, why are flyer fans so dumb? They friggin acted like they were entitled to all the beer they could drink. I saw some fans on line trying to buy more than they could hold in their hands. F-ing tool. And a big F-U to garden security. Do you think a camera is harmful to people? I'm brining it in anyway. Taking pics is part of the fun and I'm not gonna let anyone stop me. For future events, I'm sneaking it in. Beside if I were g-den security I'd be worried about the underpass connecting the garden and penn station. I'm not going to go any further on that. Did anyone know that Bobby Clarke had a gag order on him but defied anyway?

O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | Yeah Garden security should be a bit more worried about brawls in the stands, then searching pocket books. Security was real slow and poor trying to break up the many fights. They dont have enough bouncer type security guards at MSG as they do at other places. They need to hire the big boys to take care of it. And Flyer fans are so cocky and confident for a team that hasnt won a Cup in 27 years, dont you think?

O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | Lemieux is out for tomorrow night's Game. Can you say 7 in a row?? and then the worst team in the league at the Garden on Sunday. Followed by a showdown with the Avs on Tuesday. Could be a chance for the Rangers to really make some noise and get out in front in the Eastern Conference.

Psychopath Registered: Jun. 01 | quote:Well somebody should be happy tonight? Great goaltending by blackburn. He looked real sharp. Granted it was only against the Pens but had some remarkable saves. Well all but one, damn. Rangers had alot of good chances but hedberg was making saves and got unbelievabley lucky all night. One point is better than nothing. First place is alot better when your alone in it. And we have colorado to thank for that... VOS IS ABOUT AS FUNNY AS OPENING A LETTER CONTAINING ANTHRAX AND GIVING IT YOUR BABY!!!

O&A Board Regular Registered: Aug. 01 | You have to admit that was an entertaining game to watch. Blackburn played good today and so did Hedberg. Both teams benifited from the OT points, the Rangers will take the point, hopefully the loss won't turn into a slump.

O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | The loss wont turn into a slump, besides they were 18 seconds away from a tie and getting a point anyway. So Ill take the point and move on. And we've got the worst team in the NHL Coming into the Garden Tomorrow, and the Rangers will be itching to get their offensive production back together.

The Islanders have come back to Earth and are now in 2nd Place. And Hey Has anybody noticed, that the Devil fans are nowhere to be found on this board Anymore???? By the way Who is in Last Place all by themselves in the Atlantic Division?? Oh yeah thats right, the Devils!

O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | Talk about heartbreaking losses. Last night was one of them. Hey, at least we are in first place alone now, as the Icelanders are sinking faster than the Titanic, and the Devils and Flyers both suck :). Fan of the Giants and the Rangers. Hater of the rest of the NFC East and the Devils.

O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | It wasnt a heart breaking loss. They got a point. Who cares if Pittsburgh scored there or if it was a tie. We were getting a point regardless. Yeah you would rather not lose and not give Pittsburgh a point, but its not a heartbreaker when the game put us in 1st place. Now if they would have scored with 16 seconds left in Regulation, then it would have been a tough loss.
Cluster F | posted on 11-18-2001 @ 12:24 PM
O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | Granted, this loss was not as heartbreaking as other losses could be, because we got a point. But, just seeing the kind of chances that we had, and the way that Blackburn was playing all game, to lose like that scoring 0 goals does rank up there on the suck-o-meter. Fan of the Giants and the Rangers. Hater of the rest of the NFC East and the Devils.
