If the Isles can just get a win tonight I would sling them into first place. The boys need to play a strong defensive game, the Stars are stacked with talent (Turgeon, Modano, Newendike(sp?), Langenbrunner) Lets go Isles! | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Aug. 00 | Bout friggin time! Yashin's finally starting to hit a groove, 12 on the year now, Izzy chipping in as well. Good to get a win, sweep the season series from what is considered a powerhouse western conference team. Onehung, the kid next door to me has 2 B's jerseys, so he thought my sweatshirt was cool. Also, I haven't gotten a chance to get to Manchester yet, but they've got friggin Stephane Fiset in the minors, so I'm sure once I get there it'll be worth the trip. I think the school's hockey team is planning on going to a game sooner or later, which would be very cool. Let's Go Isles!!! and if I'm not on the board for a few days, since I won't be at school, hope everyone has a happy and safe Thanksgiving. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Aug. 01 | FB, Barrasso is no in most people's views a starter. Irbe hasn't had as many starts as barasso. Yesterday in Dallas Barasso started. The rest I can't argue with ya on but the Isles are just taking advantage. Blame the other teams' coaches for that. | ||||

There was no reason that Roy shouldnt have played that game after the Rangers slapped him around the night before and Aebischter got his action in. If Hasek plays the game against the Islanders,they dont get the Overtime loss there. And Barasso is nowhere near the #1 goalie in Carolina. oh by the way forgot to mention. Back to the subject.... The Isles play the Leafs today, the best team in the East and it'll be a real test for the Isles. Hopefully they can beat up the leafs for 2 points. | ||||

It was great being at the game tonight, awesome to see the place going crazy again for a change. Loved watching Cairns get the number one star and the game winner on his 5th career goal. Made it to my first game Saturday night and had a blast with my 11 year old son.Sad to say it, but, it was the first time he saw, in person, what is like to have a winning team on Long Island. See that sports fans, you don't need a new arena and all that fancy shit to draw fans, just win baby!!! And F.B., you had some problems with the Ducks last night? Must have been the starting goalie.
