| Psychopath Registered: Nov. 00 | Alyssa, loved your post. Just so I'm clear, I think talking about anyones' personal life is wrong and nothing more than idle speculation. Your analogy about the ex-girlfriend plays well here in relation to his personal life, his divorce, his girlfriend, whatever. It's his life and we would only be specualting based on newspaper articles (and we all know how fair journalists can be!). I'm going to assume that this was what the analogy was meant for. If it was meant in relation to you-know-who, I find fault with the correlation. We aren't talking about the person or his outside life, but his "contributions" to the show. Was he talented? No. Was he intelligent? No. What made his air time great was not even how he was so stupendously infuriating. His ine saving grace as a carbon based life form was that Opie and Anthony could regularly rip him a new one and would unerringly catch him being a moron. They are at their best when attacking someone and he inspired them to new heights. They were as funny tooling on him as he was stupid. I still think they are very funny, very enjoyable and still my favorite radio show of ALL TIME (and, yes, that includes Stern in his hey-day). They just hit the zone when they have someone stupid to tool on. Shit-storms are created in my wake!! | ||||
