These are hysterical, but one question; Isn't it illegal to record a phone conversation without the knowledge of both parties?

And couldn't OJ hypathetically sue them for putting his voice on the air without his knowledge?

I think that that only became a law a few years ago. Now when calling someone on the radio, you have to tell them that they are on the air. I've heard O&A say that it was a lot of fun making those Green Bay prank calls when they were in Boston, but that it sucks that they cant do it anymore.

It could be just a state by state law. I remember when Linda Tripp got in trouble for recording conversations, she was being prosecuted under Maryland state law. So perhaps California doesn't have any laws that would apply to this.

I really hope these are real, they are fucking great.

Different states do have different laws on tape-recording conversations. In NY, as long as one party (ie you) knows that the conversation is recorded, no law has been broken. I'm not sure about CA.

As far as airing the calls, I think that if a person is a public figure, you shouldn't need their permission. If this wasn't true, news shows wouldn't air many interviews.

And as far as a lawsuit, what would $3,000 really mean to OJ?? Also, it would have to go to the Goldmans.

Since OJ is now living in Florida, I don't see what this has to do with California law. And, if the boys can't even say cock in certain context wihtout getting dumped, don't you think they had clearance to play this shit before they played it?

The stupidity of you people never ceases to amaze me. Why not give the boys some credit? They know what they are doing, well Opie does at least. ;)

Kid, personally I have not had a problem with you. However, you should make sure that you are not being STUPID before you accuse others, you goddamned ignorant dumbass!!! Compared to me you are just an uneducated child!!

Dragon is correct. And in addition, O & A have done things which haven't always had the station's approval (or had you forgotten about Menino's death report, the voyeurbus, Sex for Sam in Ken's office, etc)??

Well, actually the color of the rock is inconsequential. A dry rock is smarter than a wet rock because it has sense enough to stay dry. This is why I said wet rock, can you follow the logic?

My point earlier was that you insult the intelligence of O&A if you assume that they would put themselves and their show at risk by playing anything that they could get screwed for. Not to mention the fact that I don't think the lawyers would let them get away with it anyway. They know about putting people on the air without their knowledge, I assure you of that. Don't bother thinking that they may have slipped up on this issue. This is why they have a radio show, and you fain intelligence questioning their ability to do so on a message board. :)

Well, they almost got fired in January. And one of the *Alleged* reasons was that they put a voice on the air that didn't want to be on the air.
