| Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00 | i have heard that all the spouses of firemen, emts, police, etc already recieve the full lifetime pay for their husbands as well as insurance, etc. Can anyone confirm that? If so, maybe we could raise money for the other victims families... like the windows on the world employees.. the guys who worked in the offices, etc.... most likely these people will not receive any compensation and have no insurance. We already know that many charities are raising money for the fire depts, etc. Maybe we could help out the other families instead. | ||||

I can see where you are coming from, where there seems to be a focus on emergency personnel and not as much on other people. Plenty of people perished for just 'going to work' - but the emergency worker's job is to run into dangerous situations and try to save lives. Hopefully all the funds that are collected will be distributed equitably. There were probably undocumented aliens that will never be accounted for.
