Psychopath Registered: Jul. 01 | It's great because O&A don't attempt to hide all of that stuff from an audience they know is a lot more intelligent than most people in the radio industry believe. This is a major reason I love O&A and D&M. Love or hate either of them, they make every attempt to be honest with their listeners. Email Me UNITY

Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 70 | I thought the tapes were great. I remmeber people not from Boston getting bored/annoyed with all the talk and history about AAF insiders, battles with BCN/Nik Carter, and pranks on the mayor when syndication in Boston began becuase they felt like it was all an inside joke that they were missing. But these tapes are pretty much the same thing, and I think they're great. Keep them coming. I just wish they would play the Tom Lykis (sp?) battles that I've heard so much about. O and A wars are the best part of their show. They should make it mandatory that they attempt to ruin someone's career each and every show.

Psychopath Registered: Jun. 01 | Actually, I think that these discussions of "insider radio" appeal to the masses on a different level. How many of us are in the radio business? Not many! But how many of us have had dickhead bosses who don't understand how to deal with employees or run a business? You're in a fantastic minority if you can't identify with this stuff. I find it riveting radio, and it's even better knowing that they triumphed over it. It was cool to hear Anthony get "Kreskin" on everyone's ass and predict their success. I think most people like that stuff. Thank you to all the brave volunteers who brought us all together as a country, and thank you to those of you brave soldiers who will fight and have fought for our country. We are a free people because of your efforts.

O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | parkerx, I like this stuff. yeah, I used to listen to WNEW way back when, and remember Carol Miller (as well as Scottso, etc.)and the "Rocktobers", "Two for Tuesdays", etc, but the inner workings should appeal to anyone; Most of this shit goes on everywhere. Again, it is that O&A are real. They have no problem bring up dirty laundry, or exposing the stupidity that goes on.

Psychopath Registered: Nov. 00 | I know that a lot of you can't relate to some of this, but let me tell you from personal experience that for the most part, DJ's are the fakest people around. Some people just walk around feeling they have to be "on" all the time and it makes me laugh when their scams are exposed. When I make announcements at my shows or an event, I try to talk like I'm talking to a friend across the room, I don't put on this fake DJ announcer voice so I can impress everyone. I think this is part of the reason why when you tell somebody you're a DJ they smirk at you because they know how full of shit most DJ's are. It's people like that that makes me hate this business.... http://us.f1.yahoofs.com/users/ea29fad2/bc/Yahoo!+Photo+Album/O%26A+Cat2---1.jpg
