| O&A Board Veteran Registered: Sep. 00 | too much like E! show, howard would bitch too much, i think O&A are better than that. They know seeing the same thing you heard is lame. Sure sometimes it might be fun like with Lola or seeing Patricia pee herself but really most weeks what will they have? Seriously- every night? It's an audio show, that's what the highlights are, seeing people talking. What will it be - "Oh it's Norton talking," "oh it's Jay plugging," "oh god no it's Vos turn it off turn it off." Let's face it, the E! show isn't good. If they did a show it would bbe more appreciated if they did totally original material but that might be too much work. However that's not to say an O&A tv show won't work I'm sure their first endeavor in TV will be successful...that old gag. I was thinking a documentary about O&A's history and current successes, with in-depth interviews regarding their contract and "your mom's box." They could acknowledge the fans who help add content to the show, making it a truly interactive experience... what other radio show has this much interaction, on the internet, instant feedback, and the O&A Army on the phones, dropping A-bombs (or should we call it the "C" bomb?) all over the country? Guest appearances, worst-of CDs and some specials... perhaps the O&A Comedy tour? Coming to the cities where they are syndicated? This is ice. It's what happens to water when it gets too cold. A TV show would be key in seeing contests, Stephen Lynch performances, road show highlights, and the like. Hell, start it at midnight so it doesn't conflict with you-know-who. And, might I add to Art Dent's list: O&A broadcasting live from Times Square on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno New Year's Eve special. Hey, Opie DID say they'd be on Leno in the near future... or at least that's what he told one of the Boston Manatees, so whether there's any validity is beyond me... Still, it don't hurt to dream...
