Palm beach, ran a new HOT TALK ID, then played 3 seconds of the O&A show, then these 2 black guys came on saying they were O&A, and then said "WRONG" and the station is now playing non stop rap/r&B music. They interrupt now and then to talk calls of stern/O&A fans calling in yelling at them and all they do is laugh saying instead we got good radio. GOD DAMN IT! I HOPE THEY FALL IN A PUDDLE OF AIDS AND CRACK THEIR HEADS OPEN. O & A ARCHIVES AIM: SEXBAGEL | ||||

Coming on after Uncle Crackers "Follow Me' which was being Simulcast from the new mix signal until the change. After Cracker came 10 seconds of dead air, then 3 secs of the O&A show, then 2 recorded DJ's Saying "There have been a lot of rumors about us becoming Hot Talk...but im not opie, and he's not anthony, and we are the new X102.3 Could this be a joke? Are we going to wake up tommorow and hear a howard...Or is there no competition coming to west palm against real radio." Then non stop crap. People calling in cursing their heads off. Syndication Underground rocks, but to hear O&A through the speakers of my car on the way home from work will be music to my ears...I have told so many people down here about the boys. The two "A" Hole's on the "black" station made my blood boil as I listened to the switch over on 102.3. I cant imagine a hoax...but Stern is already on a 105.1 in the A.M. why would he be on two stations in the same market? Hopefully O&A will be on the air Wednesday. | ||||

Back at 102.3, the calls WMBX remain in place, but instead of going Talk, as everyone was lead to believe, it's now Top 40/Rhythmic THE NEW X102-3 under the supervision of INFINITY VP/Programming and WPGC/WASHINGTON PD JAY STEVENS. THE NEW X102-3 is jockless and slammin' 10,000 commercial-free jams in a row. A PD and jock staff are being assembled. T&Rs, no calls, to JAY STEVENS, WPGC, 4200 Parliament Place, Suite #300, LANHAM, MD 20706. Radio One started a rock station to compete with the already established rock station there, 99X. This new station was called "107.9 The End", and ironically, the end came soon as after only two weeks, it switched to an R&B format. By the way, most of Radio One's stations are R&B/urban-oriented formats; given that, they had no right to take advantage of radio listeners, just as Infinity did in W. Palm Beach.
