| O&A Board Veteran Registered: Feb. 01  | This is for the new members. Welcome to OA.com. You are now a part of the Internet O & A Army. As a new member you are less versed in the workings of this message board than those users who have been signed up for a while now. Hopefully this thread will help clear up some of the confusion and make sense out of the chaos you see. First, before you ask any questions, please make sure your answer cannot be found in the FAQ If you still have a question or concern, please post it here. A more experienced member or moderator will then answer you in turn and help guide you on your way. Do not feel pressured or afraid to ask something. There are no reprisals, this thread is here for your benefit, so that we do not take for granted that you know how this site operates. Even though we are "kinder" board than a year ago, it does still happen from time to time. It's happened to all of us in the beginning and we've survived it just fine as I'm sure you will too. Why? Allow me to present an Unordered List.
Thus, my personal version of Froy's famous credo is: 1. READ. 2. UNDERSTAND. 3. THINK. 4. POST EARLY AND OFTEN, but only after completing steps 1-3. (Or be like me and follow only steps 1-3...) And finally, thanks Froy for this thread. I remember suggesting and seeing a Newbie Q&A thread back in Jan., when I was quietly helping Corpse with the Adoption program.
