I don't know her from anywhere but the show? Says who? You? And what are you, the authority on what and whom I do and do not know? And yes, I would allow her to stay in my home. Why not? She has never wronged me in anyway. I do not feel personally threatened by her in any manner. She has never shown to me an ounce of anger or rage that would fear me into sleeping at night. So why wouldn't I help her or someone else? Had someone helped me or anyone else during life's hard times, even if it was for a day I am sure all of our lives would be much better off today for it. That is really reaching? Reaching for what? Compassion? I don't have to reach far for that. I have it already and I will always feel the need to help someone whether they are the average Joe on a cold winter day sleeping on a curb in the city and I toss them a pair of gloves or if they are a guest on a radio show or perhaps a neighbor of mine. As I said before I find myself to be very fortunate in life. I am at a place where not many people are at my age. Instead of drowning myself in myself and becoming self-centered, I'd rather help someone who perhaps hasn’t been given all of the opportunities I have been given or perhaps was and never took advantage of them. None the less, I'd rather be someone who shares or gives my material possessions to someone and be better off for it than horde it to myself and laugh in the face of those not as blessed as I am. You can choose the latter. I do not. This in no way makes me a better person than you are. We are two people with two different opinions and beliefs. Last time I checked I never personally knocked you down for yours. Now I am returning to my casket, if you plan on slamming me again I suggest you bring flowers. Make it sunflowers, roses are so over played these days. One last thing, I have not turned into a bleeding heart liberal. We simply call this being compassionately conservative. ;) | ||||

I do not dislike anyone on this site I just callit the way I see it, all I was trying to say is we only know her from the show unless people on here know her otherways who knows how she is off the air thats all I was trying to say cause unless I know you I dont let you in my house to sleep. She's hobbling around after foot surgery - shouldn't she be 'home' resting it and making sure it heals properly instead of running around to all the different WNEW functions? If I were in her situation, I would be working 2-3 fuckin' jobs to make enough money to better myself. Why can't she? Too busy going to roadshows/concerts/etc. There are plenty of people who have come to this country without the benefit of knowing the language/custom and through hard work were able to get decent housing and living the 'American Dream' - I know from experience.
