| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | Ok....here is my side of the story: I called the show on Tuesday when I first heard them talk about the contest and told them I was interested. The next day I told my bosses that I might need to leave early on Friday (since I didn't know what time it was going to start) and they all said we would talk about it, but most likely okay. Today I came into work all ready to leave at 2:30 and be at the studio by 3:00 when I was informed that we were short staffed and they needed me to stay. :( So, I called the show and spoke to who I think might have been Rick and told him that I wouldn't be able to leave work until 5:00 and he said not to bother (I think because they didn't realize that there would be such a small turn out), so I stayed at work until they finally let me leave at 5:30 and found out that the contest hadn't even started, but by then it was pointless for me to go to the studio. I really wanted to win the tickets as a treat for my best friend who has always been there for me through thick and thin. I am not a bottom of the barrel whore who has nothing better to do than go to radio shows and act nutty, and I am also not a scum bag who promises things and doesn't do them. I tried to show up and I at least called in to tell them that I couldn't make it. So I guess to answer you I think the reason that there is such a small turn out at times is because a lot of the girls who listen to the show work or have other obligations. Also this contest was a bit off the wall, and a lot of girls are too uncomfortable with the idea, etc. I guess my challenge to all the men out there is to see just how far you guys would go for a radio bit/contest. I mean Giraffe is all mad that no one showed, but would he actually do a contest such as this? Unless everyone out there would play musical dildo chairs, and have their picture taken while doing so, they shouldn't be mad at any of the girls who may have had second thoughts and chickened out. I am really sorry for my ranting by the way...please forgive it :) Thanks!  My Two Dads: Doc Smith and JustJon I have two Daddies so I am an extra spoiled Daddy's girl :) | ||||
