| O&A Board Veteran Registered: Dec. 00  | The First Annual Opieanthony.com pool tournament has come to end. Before I give the results, I'd like to take this time to thank everyone who came and played for their support and participation. I would also like to thank those that didn't play but donated to the board. Every bit helps. I'd also like to thank those individuals who were generous enough to donate prizes to the tourney: - Tequila for the trophies - BeMoreFunny for the Bruer Tickets - JoeyBigArms for the golf lessons and CD's - Mr. Anonymous for the PDA and CD player All in all we had about 25 people participate in the tourney and another 15-20 or so to heckle them... I mean cheer them on. It was a nice turn out. The winners of the Beginners Tournament: - 1st Place : Rottiyam - Mr. Underground syndication himself. Nice Job Rotty. - 2nd Place : WeirdNJ - 3rd Place : CRXGirl - 4th Place : Darth Ziggy The Winners of the Non-Beginners Tournament: - 1st Place : Kane (not a board member, I believe he came with someone). This guy deserved to win. He went undefeated the entire tournament. - 2nd Place : The King Shit himself, Froy. For those are wondering, there was no special treatment for him. He played well and went 5-2 - 3rd Place : Joey (TRex) BigArms. Defeated by Froy in the semi-finals. Joey, remind me to introduce you to KidAfrika next time. ;) - 4th Place : FN Moron . Took a serious defeat at the hands of Kane but put up a good fight. It was alot of fun. It was cool to meet so many new people. Too many to list. Now...... as for the tools that emailed me and said they were coming and didn't even give the courtesy to say they couldn't come - [extreme sarcasm]THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT! [/sarcasm] Okay, feel free to add your comments. Oh, one more thing…. Froy, thanks for letting this midget run with this idea. I had a lot of fun doing it.  Contact me if you want to be adopted. Congratulations to all the winners.... And the biggest thanks of all goes to Grumpy, he put this all together, not me, give him the thanks, he did all the work and asked nothing in return. Thank you Grumpy from the bottom of my heart. We had a great turnout today, I expect an even better one then. After that, there won't be anything else for a very very very long time. These are special events, they aren't going to turn into regular things. Again, thank you for coming, donating, and playing. The board anniversary will definately be THE PARTY to attend - I know there will be some interesting 'surprises' THANKS to GRUMPY for his time in the planning and running of this FUN event. Or maybe I did and I was a little too drunk to remember... Congrats to the winners and everyone that played. I was just glad to come out and show my support for the board. LOL Some of you may be wondering where I went after the pool tourney because I didn't show up at Houlihans....I got lost (way too many tequilas on an empty stomach) ..ended up in some dead end develpoment so I took that as a sign to go home ...so I did. To Buttmunch thanks for introducing me to everybody, hope things went well with SeanCold later on it looked like it could it ugly. To everybody else it was great putting names with faces. Looking forward to next time! Everyone (EVERYONE!) was really cool-- finally putting the faces to the names was great.
