| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01  | I needed to go to Allentown Pa last night to do something, so I turned on WZZO when i got there at around 8:30.. One of the first things I heard the DJ say was this : "Yes, everyone it is OH WOW WEDNESDAY" And of course, O and A got no credit whatsover for this. proud graduate of Newbie University. There's no doubt they are a bunch of crooks stealin the Boys' idea but I'm all for nationwide WOW since syndication hasn't happened yet. "and don't forget that today is a WOW day! Just a little bit we stole from those radio mavens at WNEW in NYC Opie and Anthony" It kinda kewl that other stations pick up on it, but what would not be cool would be if they claim to have invented it. If asked they should just say that they got the idea from O&A, no big deal. I think it's unreasonable to ask them to pay homage everytime they use the WOW thing. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | I just checked the website, and low and behold, they are also in the middle of a best ass contest.. yes, radio stations have contests all the time, but to do it 2, TWO weeks after o and a finish theres, is a little suspicious that they are blatantly copying things from o and a and not giving them credit for it. proud graduate of Newbie University.
