Ok, I'm still trying to do the math...

Our ladies will get upset if we go to a strip club just to have a beer.

BUT...

The ladies can go to a male revue, take pictures, get pawed by the guys there, and we're not allowed to bitch?
Dude, that's wrong.

This is just wrong they can basically shove their hands down a guys pant and have no problem but if a guy did that with a chick you would be reading about him in the obituary.

This is Opie's problem. The double standard only exists if you let it. A trip to the male revue is equal to a trip to a strip club, and that's it. Not all women are as irrational about this subject as Sandy.

just to let you know that we're not all irrational bitches, i have no problem whatsoever with my boyfriend going to a strip club. in fact, a strip club's probably a lot safer than a regular bar. i mean, how many single women are gonna go to a strip club looking to hook up???

Got a point there CRX girl.
But you know how it is with most women. You don't count, you're cool.

I don't think all women are irrational at all. My girlfriend doesn't like me to go to strip clubs, and I don't like her to go to male revues. We're both jealous as fuck of stuff like that, so we skip it. The important thing is that we both agree that it's the same thing.

I took my wife to a titty bar I go to. She just wanted to see what it was like. I told her not to expect what she has seen when she goes to see the men dance. I told her it was like lions watching zebras. The dancer tried to pick her up, not her thing. Needless to say, I can go anytime I want.

Well of course, your woman is cool with it now-- she prob thinks all the chicks in there are lesbians! And besides, like they said on the show, what is the likelihood you could convince a female dancer to go home with you? Not a chance... once you're out of money, you're out of luck.

I'm with CRX on this one...I have no problem with my boyfriend going to a strip club.

Its really about trust - if you have a relationship that is based on open communication and trust the strip club would be no big thing...

Personally, I think the male revues are pathetic...I'd rather go to sporting events to see good looking men ;)

Trust is good, but the women I have been with, and my now soon to be future wife DOES have a problem with the tittie bars. I know that I have her complete trust, but she still is very clear on her feelings about these places. I go with friends from college like twice a year, and I dont get any for like a month after that, she holds a grudge pretty well.

I have nothing against strip clubs, hell I'll even go with my guy if he wants, but let's not talk about double standards because the scales are nowhere near balanced in that category.

Yeah, Belle, you're right: It's such a burden to have all your drinks bought for you, have someone slave away for 12 hours a day to support you, to have a license to be a bitch and complain b/c of your biology once a month, to have paid leave for weeks on end b/c of giving birth and not have your seniority interrupted, etc.

Yeah, that really sucks.

I have no problem with my husband going out to a strip bar and catching a few beers and some lap dances. Infact, I enjoy going with him. But I must agree there is a double standard. When we go together, I notice the strippers tend to "do" more things to me than to him. For some reason they allow women to touch them and kiss them and not the men. Oh well, I am loving it so who am I to complain...lol

Strip Clubs are only OK if your buddy is the owner. The strippers treat you much differently after hours.

I'm the nice one, that's the A-hole over there!!!
