Ant said that they were speaking of syndication in Pa. in the area he was "vacationing". The only radio station in the poconos that is owned by their parent corporation that I know of is Wbear, "the Bear" in mount pocono. The rest of the stations are owned by the local newspapers(aka the Lynott Family, who are a bunch of tools)(I grew up in that area and went to school with that trailer trash with $$ family) "Hey, don't laugh at me too hard! | Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00 | DirtDog--They're giving out stickers cause it can help them get more listeners. The more listeners they have, the more pull/money they'll be able to have with whoever they negotiate with. If they just sit back and let the show tank at the end, the ratings will show that, and companies will be a little more wary of their performance. Besides, do you really think that they're going to turn down better offers just because they gave away some stickers for WNEW???? | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Jan. 01 | If O&A leave WNEW, NEW would change formats simple as that. WNEW gets a horrific 1.5 with O&A, without them they would't even crack the 1.0 mark and would most likley get beat out in the NYC book by some Long Island stations. | ||||

I would thend to think that if O & A go down you're gonna see another format change, or complete redesigning of the shows. Remember it was b/c of O&A that NEW went all talk, if they leave, maybe we see classic rock again.  A certified RonRedDog graduate | ||||
