| O&A Board Regular Registered: Sep. 00 | Apparently Boston is a strange situation The Infinity owned WBCN (the active rock station that has Stern on in the morning) does VERY well with it music in afternoon drive. So why fix it if it isn't broken, right? Well, there is some talk of putting them on another Infinity owned station, but then, they'd be competing with WBCN for pretty much the same audience (like K-Rock and WNEW). So then option 3 is selling the program to a non-Infinity owned station (something that is done sometimes) and have them play it, but that still leads to competition with it's own stations. Apparently talk radio is more profitable (if the ratings are there) than music because you can have more commercial time than if you are only music...so it may just be a matter of time  | ||||

| Hanger-On Registered: Oct. 00 | true, i heard on O&A that they are discussing the issue with Boston, probably will be syndicated there though, i sure hope so, they got alot of fans there, cause that is where they started, so it would be great. OPIE AND ANTHONY ALWAYS WIN IN THE END | ||||

I remember reading they'd be on BCN up there, which I think is the same station Stern is on. Then there's always the distinct possibility I am talking directly out my ass.
