| O&A Board Regular Registered: Sep. 00 | Sports guys on an upswing? Well, Yeah! I finally listened to their show yesterday morning. As compared to Mike and the Mad Dog, they are much better for sports talk. Yes the voices are annoying, but it's just enough to wake you up, and listen. Now I can figure out what the NY Mets are up to without going into seizures! Sid? good, Craig? good, Blaine? good. None of them sound like obnoxious Chiuauas! And they switch topics as quickly as possible before it gets dead. Looks like there is no such thing a a no competition clause with the Sports guys. Give Him hell guys, give him hell! They are getting more gooder, but something about them is a complete turn off. I think it is cuz I never heard them play a funny bit or a funny sound clip. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Feb. 01 | I can't deal with the Sports Gays. So I have created a new line up for WNEW. (LOL) Let's see if it works. First get rid of the Sports Gays and Don&Mike...ok now 6am to 11am - radio chick 11am to 3pm - Brother Wease 3pm to 7pm - Opie & Anthony 7pm to 11pm - Ron & Fez To me that would be the perfect WNEW line up that would have me listening from 6am until 11 pm... | O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | NJS, Actually that would be a pretty decent lineup. Unfortunately we all know WNEW Mangeledment does not seem to care what the listeners want. The Sports Guys are comming around. I actually gave up on Stern about six weeks ago (I know, what took me so long) and have been listening to them. They are getting better, making the O&A references and the cockfights and nude woman to save the wabbit were f'n funny. They need to be just a bit less annoying and they should do ok.
