| Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00  | Hey Guys and Girls... the long and short of it is...Bar9 didn't wanna fess up with the cabbage to cover expenses. I wanted to pay some guys that were helping out and the owner (Peter) cut off his nose to ...blah...blah..blah... So, I'm looking for a new venue as I type this post. If you guys have a particular night that would be more convenient than Tuesdays, lemme know, I'll book whichever night is suggested most often. Sorry I couldn't work things out for this Tuesday, but, when I book a new place, It should be a "star studded" event and a MUTHA' FUCKIN' PISSA!!!!!! Now go figure out what yer gonna do next Tuesday night...heh-heh!!! I'll update this thread with posts as new developments....er..aaa..um...uhhh....develope.... See all of you very soon....JOE! | Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00 | Hey Joe,i heard of this little place in New York, called LONG ISLAND. Maybe you've heard of it. Seems your brother and his stay-at-home-for-gigs partner never have. It may be a little far for some jersey folks, but once you cross the bridges, especially at night, you can get anywhere pretty quick, and its pretty tough to get lost(I'm speaking to the board, because i know you know all about the island.) It's just a suggestion, based namely on the fact that it would make my life much easier, so i guess i'm a bit biased. Have you ever contacted the dublin pub, mulcahys, or even that place in queens, on Bell blvd(the moose head, or something like that)? They all seem to accomodate your type of a show on a regular basis. And, at least for me, a weekend would work best. Look foward to your next gig, wherever it might be. | Psychopath Registered: Jun. 01 | monday through thursday night is good, i work weekends, plus the city on a weekend night is a cluster f, ofcourse coming from jersey the city is always a cluster f. and please, no long island, i like the place but somewhere near bar 9 would be good, its easy to get to, and easy to get home (which is the most important thing after a night of knocking back a lot of cold ones) and as someone said to me last time at bar 9, nyc seems to be atthe center of the o and a fan base, so it just makes sense...then again what around here makes sense=)  BRODIEMAN...NOOTCH NOOTCH!
