It used to be 11-3 but I turn on my radio and those two jack asses who stole the late late night replay from Ron and Fez are blathering about crap. | Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00 | I'm fucking sick of WNEW's Management trying to force Don & Mike on us. They are fucking HORRIBLE. They are so out of the loop when it comes to pop culture and they are JUST NOT FUNNY. God I wasn’t a Radio Chick fan at all, but you know what, she was a decent warm up act before R&F and O&A got their shows started. I cannot turn on WNEW now before 3pm w/o feeling like my head is in a vice. I gave Don & Mike a chance when they joined the station a year ago but I have never been able to enjoy the show. I cringe at the fact that they think they put on an entertaining show. "What are you gonna do?Release the dogs?! Or the bees?! Or dogs with bees in their mouth so that when they bark they shoot bees at you?" | ||||

Saturday only gave us a 3 hour ron and fez replay (unlike the other shows which had 4) and D%M already monopolize the late late replays which suck for the ron and fezzers too. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | I am 99% sure that they moved the O&A replays to 3-7 on saturdays and i think sundays too, because the new commercials say "every day in afternoons." i guess i'll check the radio around 3 to make sure. | O&A Board Veteran Registered: Sep. 00 | Fuck continuity. I'll say it again, fuck continuity. If you like the Sportsguys you don't want to wake up early on your weekend, just to listen to the sportsguys. On the same token you might not want to miss out on a Satueday social life by listening to Ron and Fez. Having the same thing play Saturday as was playing the entire week is just plain stupid, the weekend if a time to shake things up. If you insist on leeching off of the archives of your shows at least spread it out a bit. Another way of looking at it is by airing their shows at different times, they are possibly getting a new audience. Putting Opie and Anthony on from 11-3 Saturday helps O&A listeners get through their day doing work or whatever they do early Saturday and Ron and Fez Sunday 12-4 give people who wouldn't know about them a chance of possibly getting interested because it's in a good time slot. By airing the same schedule Monday through Saturday is just plain, well, stupid. Spread the wealth, give us a reason to listen on Sundays.
