| Hanger-On Registered: Aug. 01  | Do you guys think hes been on the show too much. I know hes really edgy has some good lines but his act can get old sometimes. Its getting to the point where hes on way too much like 3 full shows a week. I'm not trying to bash him or anything just think hes on too much adopted by hornygoatweed | ||||

But that quickly goes out of my mind when he tells someone to "sneeze and miscarry" Norton is THE BEST at one-liners and his dead on accurate perceptions of idiot callers.And he doesn't intefere in the show, he just sits back and goes along smoothly.He doesn't jump in and plug his gigs and act retarded( I still miss Dice) The best thing that the Diceman ever did for O&A and their audience was to introduce all of us to Jim Norton.And now other markets are being introduced to Norton, and this will get him more exposure. I wasnt trying to bash him Its just that what got Opie and Anthony to this point in their careers was Opie and Anthony and not Opie and Anthony and Norton and I dont know why they would wanna change the dynamic of their show at this point after all their success. Another thing is that I see some people arent fans of old dirty but I think its easier to deal with him bec hes not on more then once a week so if you dont like him you can live with only hearing him once a week. adopted by hornygoatweed | ||||

| O&A Board Veteran Registered: Sep. 00 | Norton rocks. Many have said it and I don't want to reiterate but he says funny lines, he doesn't take over the show. He's smart enough not to be dominant but to know when to say a funny line and when to hold back. He could be in the studio 4 days a week but you could go for 5 breaks without hearing Norton utter a peep so when he does you forgot he was there and it makes it more special. | Psychopath Registered: Jun. 01 | Now that there are three THREE posts about this, I will add (again) that Norton is a great addition to the show as a regular. He still goes out and tours, but on most days you first hear him at about 3:15. He helps give bits legs and stays in the background... he was what Jokeman was supposed to be for Stern in the eighties, but he is actually coming up with funny lines. Imagine if Norton sucked, and the boys stayed on fifteen years past their prime... THAT OLD GAG! Narrator: "I STILL can't think of anything." Tyler: "Flashback humor, how amusing." | ||||
