| Psychopath Registered: Nov. 00  | Why do I get the feeling that while Sbluesman in on vacation, this friend of his isn't gonna do right by us? No through any fault of his (or her) own, I'm sure, but this wekend isn't a good omen. I know Trancer is going to try to step up, but he's has to wait on his cables. I'm going to try to pitch in if I can, but I won't even be home to check it until after the fact. I'll let you know as it goes. By the way, I'm talking uploads to the FTP, not live feeds. | Psychopath Registered: Jul. 01 | I will do my best to record the show. It all depends on the feeds. Where are the people from Philly or the other cities? It would be nice to have some extra feeds. What pisses me off is, I have the equipment to feed the show, but alias, I am nowhere near a radio transmission of O&A. BTW, does anybody have a current list of the feeds so I can update my M3U file? Currently I have: Chuck Radio: Up 99% of the time. Don't Bother: Recently working. | Psychopath Registered: May. 01 | Got some new updates for you guys..... Got my cable send to me from the wonderful peice of shit cdw.com. Some good news and bad news. The good news being that they finally came in, the bad news being they're 12in instead of 12ft. Someone fucked up my order. I'm sure no one here wants to hear me rant and bitch further about this. So i'll stop. I know all of this sound really bad. But it's not as bad as it really is. Here's the thing, over the weekend, i went out and got myself a little portable radio with an audio out jack. So on Monday, i will hook up this little radio right next to my computer with this wonderful 12in cable i waited so long for (CDW.COM SUCK IT! Never Again will i order from your peice of shit site!!!), and encode the show for you guys. I did a little test run tonight, and the feed came out pretty good, just a few static noise. (Also, i have a backup cable shipped to me from Belkin themselves. Don't know when that's getting here, but it's something to hope for.)  | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Nov. 00 | When I say "live feed" I don't mean O&A being live, but when THEY get the show. Let's say the show starts in TX at 10:00 (12:00 EST if I got my time zones right). If an ambitious Texan were to start a feed then, we'd have more back up. More back up=more gooder. One problem, the feed would cut out at midnight their time because the power dips every time they fry someone, doesn't it? "A little song, a little dance, a little seltzer in your pants!" | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: May. 01 | Mace, i think the playlist you got is the one most updated one. I don't think redcamero updated the SU list recently. Your little summary just about described what each of the feeds are. Let me just add a few more things to that. ChuckRadio streams 102.7 the radio station 24/7 w/o any replays. So whatever you hear on the radio, that's what streams out of chuckradio. (I think he also throws in some MP3z during the night time, and sometimes during the commericals.) Don't bother is also the same as chuckRadio. (All WNEW, and nothing else) Sblueman is the only SU feed with the replays of O&A and R&F. Check his posts for the replay time each night. Also a few things about how we're not getting new SU feeds and the general SU topic .... I don't really think the new cities know we exist. O&A used to mention SU every show b/c that's the only way they could spread their virus. Now, it's no longer needed, they can be heard everywhere. So the SU scene is mentioned less and less. Which can be a good thing... The less people knows about us, the better. Plus it wouldn't be so underground if everyone knows about us.  | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: May. 01 | Here's an interesting little story for all the SU people, with a happy ending... So i setup my cable to the radio today, and starts to encode the show for everyone here. But then i realize, i should do a test run first before i leave for work. During the test run, i found out, when i save the MP3 file, the audio stream becomes so low, it's unlistenable (unlistenable??? is that even a word????). Then i start to panic.... what am i going to do!!!! All these people are depending on me to have the show saved for them! I'm so screwed! Then an idea popped into my head. I then remembered "Don't bother"'s live feed is been up over the weekend, and his feed alomst never cuts off on my computer! I could record the show from his feed! And guess what people? It worked! Everything turned out OK when i came home tonight. A huge thank you to Don't Bother! You saved everyone's ass today!!! I don't know if he's a board member or even reads these posts. But hey! Don't bother, YOU RULE! (By the way, the show is being uploaded to the FTP as we speak.. it should be done by 10:30PM) | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Jul. 01 | Yes, it is possible to record the feeds! You will need to switch the recording controls. Window Right click on the speaker in the system tray, click on Open Volume Controls, then go to Options, Properties, select Recording, make sure Stereo Mix is selected and hit OK. Click on the Stereo Mix Select Box. Now just use any sound recording program you have, (except of course, Windows default Sound Recorder.) Now it will record anything that comes out of your speaker. Down side to this. It will record AIM sounds, Browser sounds, etc... any sound your computer makes. That is why I set it up on another machine at let it go. Also, be careful of the Volume on the Stereo Mix. If its set too high it will sound terrible. Problems, just ask. the official unofficial opie and anthony fan siteThe Syndication Underground... | Psychopath Registered: May. 01 | It's very possible to record the show off the SU feeds.... In fact, that's how i'm recorded in the past for the shows i uploaded. It works extremely well if you have a decent computer that won't crash every 2 seconds, and a reliable feed (Don't Bother = a feed that never cuts off) The program i use is totalrecorder in case people wanted to know for the 100th time.... It is the best audio capture program for the PC, and it will not record any of your system sounds (IMs and etc....) It is a shareware (it means you have to pay for it for the full usage), but many use the cracked version like i do. All you need is a crack serial patch. Not hard to find. | ||||

That will make sure that people heave the correct rev with the correct patch then I do not have to answer dumb ass questions like why does this not work? It would also be nice for you to upload the lame and blaze dll's to encode like Sblueman. | ||||
