People tend to take Syndication Underground for granted now, but let's not forget that these guys have to use their own bandwidth (Chuck on a modem) and their own machines to make this work. | Psychopath Registered: May. 01 | I totally agree with everyone here. I have personally tried to setup a SU feed, and found out the hard way that it's a pain in da ass. Not only does it take bandwidth, but also money they have to pay out of their own pockets. Yet, they all do it without bitching or complaining. Thanx alot people (sblueman, chuck, mulligan, red camaro, and all the new SU feeders that are out... sorry guys, i'll know your names when you guys post more, LoL)  | ||||

The only thing that got me through 9/11 was O&A....It took hours to find out that my brother, sister in law, and friends in Manhattan were ok, and thanks to you all, I got to hear 'home' during the tragedy. We all owe you one!! Damn the torpedo's, bite the bullet, go for the gusto, that's what I always say!!! Oh wait...that was someone else. Never mind. | ||||

Secondly, I live in Richmond, VA, so guess how much I depend upon SU to post my summaries. If I depended upon the FTP alone (not to downplay the FTP, I use that for South Park shows and to record shows on tapes), FM Jeff and Joe Soprano would kill me for how long it took to post my summary. Thank you Chuck, Rotty, RedStripe, SBlueman, Bad Doggie, Av8ter, Mulligan, Mirear Hurtz, and the nameless guy that helped me out in summer 2000. If there's someone I missed, that's news to me. Oh, the Impact Radio guy. I don't have a cable modem to listen to him. You guys have and do provide a service for us that we could never accomplish thanking you for. It doesn't matter how many posts you have, personally, it's just tooting your own horn proclaiming 'i've been here longer than you so therefore, i am more important' even though you aren't. I haven't seen your post any were else. So fucking lay off. It's about time that we gave SU feeders the prop's that they deserve. i am in college and wouldn't survive without blueman or chuck or av8er. blueman in particular cause he plays O and A all the time. so kudos to the newbie for starting this thread. and TJ get a clue. Don't follow the leader and simply say that adoption is the answer, this thread is justified. There aren't any others that thank the guys that put up the SU feed, its too little and not said enough. TJLamb had a good point. It was a bit misguided but, still relevant. This is escentially the same thing that starts feuding between regulars & newbies in almost every instance. Happydude didn't read the old threads on the same topic. He just started a new one. The sentiment of which is not in question. I have picked out the suspicious people before (what was his name, Jezhead? Oh, and TooCoolJew or whatever the f his name was), you know the ones who come in all nice and happy and then....BOOM....the other shoe drops. See the ImpactRadio threads for more on this. Don't get me wrong, a lot of our newer members are fine people, I read their posts without attack and I wish them a long and happy membership. It's just that once in a while, a little mental alarm goes off. So far, that instinct appears to be pretty good. Does post count matter? Well, if someone becomes a member that month and starts what is one of the more redundant threads, it shows a lack of preparation. LESS THREADS=MORE GOODER (this only applies to REDUNDANT threads). SO, let's settle this once and for all (at least for a month): TO ALL SU FEEDERS (EXCEPT IMPACTRADIO) AND FTP KEEPERS (IF WE ONLY HAD AN FTP...BUT THAT'S ONLY A JOKE WE MADE UP)....THANK YOU! YOU PROVIDE A GREAT SERVICE AND ARE DEFINITELY OFFICERS IN THE O&A ARMY! Everyone who agrees with that, please just reply with 'yes' or 'aye' or whatever.
