I have already gotten a lawyer, that is why I have been down, I wanted to do it legal. I have been talking to Westwood one about doing a feed you "tools". Oh, and TJ just because I have 20 posts, and a life, that doesnt make for a good comeback. Oh and by the way, the people who did listen to my feed have had no problem whatsoever with giving donations. If you get a service for free, you shouldnt knock it. (running gag) B: Everybody got their panties in a bunch because 1 person made a sarcastic comment, granted a little acidic, but pretty standard around here, and you lost it, and to be perfectly honest, you started acting very holier than thou about your feed and it's proposed quality. What you need to realize, is when people spend their time and money to give other people something for free, it's incerdibly impolite to CRITICISE their service, the veritable "Gift Horse in the mouth" so to speak. Also, the folks who appreciate their service will probably get REALLY defensive at that point. C: While I doubt Blueman would actually ask for donations, the simple fact of the matter is he would probably be given a little leeway, simply because folks are familiar with both him and his product. He's proven himself to be an earnest provider. While post count itself isn't and should never BE an issue (TJ) you need to keep in mind that alot of the folks here probably aren't familiar with you, and haven't accessed any of your feeds/services yet, so for all they know you're just somebody else trying to scam them (This IS the internet afterall) Just try to keep in mind that this IS a site based on Opie and Anthony, so there'll be a LOT of sarcasm and ribbing, try not to blow up like you did this time, because it's a chain reaction. Person A makes a comment, Person B blows up about it, Person A blows up in response, Persons C + pile on. While Pile ons have been fun in the past, we're not suppossed to let that happen. I will however obey and share the rules with other board members. That being said... When a mod tells you to stop breaking the rules. You STOP breaking the rules. You DO NOT ask the mod to explain him or her self. It's been said many times before but, I think it bears repeating: "If you don't like the rules, go post somewhere else." That may sound a bit harsh. I know you run an excellent feed. I hope you will continue to. I apreciate all that you do for 'Syndication Underground'. I know it isn't cheap or easy. And, I know it's a pain in the ass when people bitch & complain. But, we're all on the same team here. We are all here to help each other not to compete or brag or knock other's feeds. With enough to pick from that it's rare that they're all down...i'll take good and free over great and costly. I'm not tryin to start trouble...but looking for money before you've established the reputation that others already have (who don't charge) is a quick way to get bad publicity BTW, Red Camaro Radio will be making it's return soon! Although I love a good game of "dog-pile on the rabbit" as much as the next guy, we can get vicious. I do disagree about the post count thing, however. We've seen recently where some newer people have come in promising feeds, FTP's, etc., and ....well, things didn't work out. But I hope we can just agree to disagree on that point. Now, Impact...it has been said more eloquently than I ever could (and, besides, why the hell would you listen to me? I'm sure you feel I'm Lex Luthor to your Superman), but there are feeds that are free and while you may have excellent quality, you're implying they don't. I disagree. They also have a quality you don't, a trust factor. Maybe, hopefully, in time you'll acquire that, but please don't come in like you are the Jesus Christ of the SU. Do I have a feed? No, I don't. I am not techno-savvy enough and to be honest, I know I would not be in a league with the people who do the job. It's not ass-kissing, it's self-awareness. Your comment about the free ride and asking for the gas? Interesting. BUT: I would not pay to drive in a Yugo. I also would not pay for the gas if the guy driving was likely to drive me into a tree (although there are dozens of people who would pay to have me driven into a tree). See?
