| Psychopath Registered: Jan. 02  | as i was in penn. for sept 11 and wasn't yet down with SU im gonna download the show. I'm really interested to hear their comments about it. My question is whether they went live on the 11th and if not when was the first show that they did. Thanks.  Q: What does it mean to be a newbie in SU?? | Hanger-On Registered: Jul. 01 | the events that gripped our country on September 11 2001 were very well covered by O&A and if i may add when they unfolded while Howard Stern was on. i feel both shows covered the events very well and allowed the lsitener to call in and express thier own feelings and comments with out judgement. i have not downloaded the shows form that week yet and im not sure i want to, it is still a source of pain and i still get emotional when i see or hear certain aspects of it. ok before this gets drug out yes, they did have excilent coverage and the best part about it was they didnt keep repeating everyting that the major networks did, they didnt sugar coat it they simply allowed a place for listeners to vent adn voice frustraion and horror. and again O&A, excilent job! Attention: October 28-November 4 is National Pornography Awarenese week, Please be aware of your pornography and view it atleast 3 times a day. please show your support of the fine art of Pornography, share it with your friends! I believe it is not only important to document what happened but reactions by the masses towards it. They did do an honest job and professionally allowed people to express their own uncensored emotions. | Psychopath Registered: Sep. 01 | I think it was also historical from the O & A point of view in that that Friday, the term "You Whore!!1" was coined when Jim Norton suggested that people should take their minds of the tragedies by going to one of his shows. I could be wrong, though. In place of commercials, WNEW had 1010 WINS running during breaks with all the late-breaking stories and that sad little song they played every 20 minutes.
